Super Mario All-Stars 25th Anniversary Wii 2010
Created: 01/14/11
I finally won this Wii game after 13 intense days of bidding and bidding and finally won it :) NO~ I didn't pay arm & leg...Just my hubby's toes heh heh heh...I love these gameson this.I was goin gto buy them through the Nintendo channel in my Wii,but it wouldn't be the same as owning actual game disc. This way-I won't lose these games if my Wii dies,or trade in or whatever.
These games are just like original versions but look much better quality than way way way back, when thy all 1st came out. If you go to your Wii video channel-search for Alison and gary's secret hints to this game! They gave many, manyMANY away. You'll find these clues in short videos, and in thier show Alison/Gary do weekly. Some will be mentioned in title, some are not. There is even a video Alison/Gary did interviewing the ACTUAL voices of Mario & Wario, and others-the man who has been doing many voices for this series, and some other games as well-is really a quite interresting fella'...This game case,is nice, like the way it opens up,like a book flap. There is a cd inside as well,I haven't had a chance to listen to it yet-but I have heard great reviews about the original songs on there. Also, there is a booklet, explaining Mario series history-nope,I haven't read it yey.I did glance through quickly, and it definately adds to the game values,as a memory memnto :)
.If this is your 1st time playing this series-welcome to the Mario clan, and enjoy your games :)You will NOT be bored with these games, and don't forget,Mario has many other games now a days as well since these games on several game systems--Wii Mario games are great to interact with:)

Super Mario All-Star Limited Edition: Worth the money?
Created: 01/06/11
I bought the game because I grew up playing Super Mario on my N64 and being able to play 4 of the old school games on my wii was such a sweet deal. If you grew up with Super Mario then you know exactly what you're going to get and how much fun it's going to be. This comes with a collection of 4 NES-based Mario games. Super Mario Bros 1,2 & 3 and the addition of "The Lost Levels," which was originally from Super Mario Bros 2 in Japan. (Super Mario Bros 2 in the United States was actually a game called Doki Doki Panic with Mario characters used in place of the original heroes.) Games come in SNES form and with revamped character designs and increased level details. A soundtrack and booklet tracing the history of the Mario franchise are also included. The game play is pretty awesome and just what you would expect if you were 6 years old in the 80's or 90's kicking the Goomba's butt! If you're a true Mario fan then you will love the game and it is definitely worth the money.

Celebrating Super Mario's 25th anniversary, this is a new edition of the blockbuster Super Mario All-Stars remake of early Super Mario titles. In addition to the game, buyers will get an item known as "Super Mario History 1985 - 2010." This includes a booklet recapping the history of the franchise, and a soundtrack spanning the first Super Mario Bros. all the way to 2010's Mario Galaxy 2.

Nothing New

Listen, people. If you have the original Super Mario All-Stars for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, you are not missing out on much. The Soundtrack and history booklet are interesting, but not worth it if you are not a die-hard Mario fan... like I am, ESPECIALLY if you already have it for Super Nintendo.
That being said, it's awesome! You have all three of the original Super Mario Bros. games PLUS Super Mario Bros.: the Lost Levels, a game rarely seen in the Western hemisphere, and NEVER before the original Super Mario All-Stars. Not only that, but each game is upgraded to 16-bit graphics and sound, just like the original All-Stars. All in all, Super Mario All-Stars is a great way to get re-acquainted with the original Super Mario games you grown up playing and loving. Nostalgia.

As someone who has had every Mario game that Nintendo ever made,I decided to buy this one to add to my collection. It's a great game for the Mario fans in your family and what is better about this Mario All*Stars is its brought to you on the Wii,so old is still new even with the new system. The only faults I have with this game is Super Mario World is not on this game like it was with Mario All*Stars for the SNES and the detail and graphics are still the same as they were on the SNES,But it is still a good find and who would not want it because it marks 25 years of Mario too.
