Runs Well - Above Average Performance

I received this as a gift about 4 years ago and did not use it for maybe the first two years. Just didn't get around to it. I eventually hauled it out of the closet and decided to give it a go.

I do like the fact that it has a remote. My other 7" digiframe does not. That said, my other one is set on a timer, so I don't even think about it. I could do the same with this one but decided to just activate by remote when I want it on. The color is crisp and clear when looking straight on but not from very much of an angle. I use a small prop under the frame stand to keep it at the height I need for great views. The shuffle feature works well. I have read in other reviews for other makes that this can be a problem.

As with almost all digiframes, be prepared to edit your photos to size if you want to view them full in the viewing screen. The aspect ratio for this Sungale is a perfect 16:9 (3 3/8" x 6"), which is 56.25%, whereas many cameras have a different ratio, unless you adjust them prior to taking the shots. For instance my Nikons standard Fine resolution shots are 4928x3264 pixels and 3872x2592 pixels which are 66-67% ratios (equivalent to a 4" x 6" image). Thus if you do not edit the size then the image is resized to fit the width so the height does not fill the screen. As stated, almost all frames will have this issue, but if you like fooling around with photos then the edit is not a big deal.

Once you have slipped your SD card in the unit and turned it on, it does its job. And, as stated in the heading, it is above average. More like a 3.5 than a 4 but better than just a 3.

I would recommend this Sungale model as long as the price, in today's market, matches the features that it offers compared to other, similar units.

Excellent Frame

I love this frame, it plays Avi's and you can als play mp3's along with you pictures. This is a for sure buy if you ever get the chance too.

Digital Pict frame

I won it with out expecting to, I was looking for a easy to use but good quality digital frame for my Grandma. It is not a brand name I would usually purchase. It works well, I have seen better, but for the money it is a good deal.

I got this to show pictures of the cakes we make at my pastry shop and, for a cheap price, I got the value of higher priced digital frames ... thinking of buying another one for my other shop.
