I heard this book several years ago as a loaner and enjoyed it so much that I searched for it again for purchase to add to my audio collection. When it arrived in the mail, I couldn't wait to hear it again. It is a wonderful and touching love story that has all of the elements I've come to expect from Ms. Rice: a hero and heroine who have all-too-human flaws; a developing relationship that is fraught with emotional baggage from the past that must be overcome; tender moments of real intimacy; and just enough trouble from the real world outside to put love to the test. If you are a romance fan and haven't read (or heard) this book, you are in for a treat.
