Greatest Show on Television

To me, Stargate is the greatest show on TV. This gift set of 5 DVDs is a great collection of the whole 8th season. There are extras on every DVD ranging from photo galleries, clips of how episodes are made, and interviews with different cast members. Richard Dean Anderson has really made a great empire of Stargate fans. You can literally walk down the street and stop someone and they would be a die-hard Stargate fan. I really enjoy watching them in DVD format rather than on TV. They are so much crisper and clearer. So, I would really recommend buying these DVDs.

Stargate SG-1 season 8 best season of the series

The 8th season of Stargate SG-1 is another wonderful addition to my collection. This season has a little bit of every other season in it, from the humor to hardships, from fighting/action to love circles. This was supposed to be the 2nd possible finale for the series and if it had ended here, rather than going on for another 2 seasons, then that would have been just fine. The 2-part season finale is a great timewarp/alternate reality arc. It is by far one of the best arcs of the series. The end works both as a season and series finale. I'm glad that it wasn't the end though. Let's put it this way; I have boughten seasons 1-8 of SG-1 and have thourghly enjoyed each one. I can rewatch each season over and over and never get sick of it. That shows the greatness of this show. ONE OF THE BEST SCIFI SHOWS EVER MADE!! If you want to laugh, cry, blow things up, and also have intellectual conversions with the person next to you about the fabric of spacetime, then this is the show for you, and this is one of the best seasons of the series. It's amazing that the show kept getting better with each season without getting old, that is a very hard accomplishment to achieve.

Stargate SG-1 Season 8 DVD

We totally enjoy Sci-Fi in our house and spend enjoyable liesure time watching any of our collection of DVDs. We particularly like the Stargate SG-1 series and decicided that we would get all 10 seasons to watch and enjoy more than once. We purchased this season to add to others that we presently own and currently seeking the final two seasons. We feel that E-bay is the best place to find the DVDs that we want or need and can bid in order to get quality and price at the same time.

Great show for all ages...

This is one of my all time favorite TV shows ever. Stargate SG-1 spawns after the movie Stargate with Kurt Russell and David Spader. The show is comical and adventurous and leaves you wanting more and more. The only one I didn’t let my son watch was the pilot episode as it has brief nudity. The story lines are deep and the story arcs drawn by these teams cover quite a few episodes. Along with being entertained you get to learn quite a bit about Egyptian history and gods as well LOL…

Why I Love This Purchase

I have a household of seven; five of which are teenaged boys. I have been renting the Stargate SG-1 series from our local library but they didn't have season eight. I love the series because it offers good wholesome entertainment and all seven of us love to watch them. So I purchased season eight for my family to view and then we are going to donate it to the library so the full series is available for others to view as well. I chose to use eBay for this purchase because the cheapest I could find it in stores was forty dollars. I only spent a fraction of that and still got it brand new in package. We have watched most of them and have not had one problem.
