I was never really a fan of the original Star Trek series (I liked the movies) and it wasn't until the early 90's before I started watching TNG. I think I was instantly hooked! The story lines, the characters, everything about TNG just seemed to click.
Over the years after the series was canceled, I would find myself catching a re-run here and there and all time would stop while it showed! I think TNG remains to this day the only TV series I would watch religiously.
Season 2. was a great season! The character's began to become familiar in a way that would remain for the rest of the series. Riker grows the beard, Worf becomes the new chief security, the introduction of ten forward, etc. It's also in this season when TNG fans get first introduced to the "Bad Boys" of space...The Borg! If I would have a complaint about this season, it would be the introduction of Dr. Polaski that replaced Dr. Crusher as the ships doctor. Dr. Polaski's character would remain for one season only however.
All in all, Season 2. has been a great experience and a great buy! A must have for any TNG fans out there. Buy it today...you won't regret it!
Star Trek: The Next Generation began to pick up steam in the second season after a mediocre first season of acting and writing. Episodes such as Elementary, Dear Data, The Measure of a Man, and The Emissary were interesting in and of themselves, but also set the stage for future episodes and story lines. Season two also introduces Guinan who becomes integral to many future stories. Top episodes from season two include “A Matter of Honor”, with Will Riker serving onboard a Klingon ship and “Q Who?” in which Q instigates the initial contact between Starfleet and the Borg. Good viewing for anyone and a must have for ST fans or collectors.
If you are a fan of Star Trek then this season is a must have. Captian Jean Luc Picard and his crew faces many different adventures and encounter new alian life that makes you wanting more!
Its a great set of DVD's. No problem with them so far. Helped to complete my collection! I will continue shopping on Ebay til I have the series I like to watch in my personal possession.
I decided to buy it becuase i really like Star trek The Next generation. Out of all the Treks made the Next Generation is my Favorite.I really like the fact that its on dvd and i dont have to worry about if they will get deleted on my Dvr.
