Stacked with Daniel Negreanu (Sony PlayStation 2, 2006)

Bought this game through Ebay and have enjoyed it almost immediately out of the box. You are able to create your own character and play as a career. The AI opponents are more realistic than almost any other game I have played - with true bluffs and plays. It also learns and gets better as you progress through your career. By winning certain events, you are given invitation to other tournaments. Includes online game options - you can also network on up to 9 different PSP's and PS2s in a home network if you choose. My son has a PSP version and we can compete against each other. Overall, an awesome game.

This is a good game to learn how to play with some style and help with knowing what to bet and what to throw on a bet. He literally walks you through each hand of you need it.
It plays a little slow, but that is all part of playing poker, patience right. I think the characters are pretty good and they aren't afraid to play aggressive.The atmosphere is to real like you are actually at a table betting and playing other players. If you know how to play (or you think you do) this game is still interesting and honestly, you will still learn a thing or too. The cards do fall in such a way to definitely make you respect your hands a little better.
My honest opinion is this is a great all around game and it has not froze up on me once far like so many on the market right now. I say a good buy if you are loosing money playing on line, but have a need to play and hone your skill with some more hours of face time...this is a good teacher.

WPT is probably my favorite poker game for ps2 but Stacked comes as a close second. Great graphics and the carrer is quite realistic. The options makes the player chose between fast games or the whole action as if you were on a real table. Also, I really like the details given to the dealer as he get's the chips from players, as he deals the cards and other things like that. There is also an option where you can hear Negraneau give advices on your hand. It's a great tool to lear and it's a great game to play alltogether!

I played this game for just a few hours and I can tell you it will get more play at my house. Its got great graphics and isnt so predictable like many other poker games. I havent played it much yet but I do think its a worthy investment. The gameplay is easy enough to figure out. I would recommend this game to anyone who loves the game of texas holdem. You get pro tips when in doubt, and get to try and learn tells as you go. It is realistic and in my opinion when you cant get a game goin or its a week til poker night this game can hold ya over. Try it and I think you would agree.

This game is probably the best poker game I've played on any console. The graphics are unbelievable, it's almost like you're in an actual casino. I'd definately recommend it to any poker fan.
