) I usually dont play Fender Basses but I picked this one up for a reasonable price and was struck buy the sound and playability of it. For a Lower end Fender. I dont really see any difference in the more expensive models. I would change the pick-up if I were going to use it as a primary bass but overall it sounds great as -is! Good choice for someone who is not sure if they want to be a bassist or not! You CANNOT go wrong for the money!

The parts fit together good enough, no where near the fit and feel of the US made but, then again, good enough to get the job done.
