a fun and interesting game, a mothers opioin

Spyro: A Hero's Tail (PS2, 2004) game is a great game. my little girl age 4 is really into all the spyro games. it is fairly easy for a young child to play. with a occasional help from parent. because it has a lot of strategy. i like how he only has to shoot enemy 1 time with flame or electric breath to kill them, makes it easier for my little one than having to beat them up several hits. also like being able to buy things at the store with the jewels. makes collecting jewels more fun. also love how you can explore any world you want in any order you want. spyro can swim a lot in it. makes interesting for kids. i decided to buy it because my daughter would rather make us play so she can watch, and we already beat spyro a new beginning and became bored of her making us play it over and over. haha. and wanted a new one to play. Spyros Enter the Dragonfly is also very similar to this game and very good, but a Hero's Tail is just more upgraded graphics and u can go to moneybags store in hero's tail. overall i would recomend this game to anyone. i even enjoy it as a mother and an adult, i really get addicted to it too. the story that goes along with it is good too. also spyro collects eggs to get to play as other dragons (i think). also u collect crystals. there are a lot of new little dragons spyro talks to. my little girl even saw a dragon she thinks is spyros girlfriend. also there is a map for every world that shows where you have & have not explored yet, which i think is an exellent idea. and u can save the game anytime. some of the challenges where you can win eggs and crystals are hard, i have my husband help on hard parts. but a good thing about challenges is you get to play as different characters like sparks, a mole guy that digs, the tiger guy with a bow and arrow, and more. i like this game a lot. i would reccomend it.

If you are a spyro fan, you absolutly cannot miss with this one. Details, spot on, no obstical too extreem or obstical impossible like on other spyro games. It constantly keeps your mind moving and you dont burn out. Always something to discover and it always stays mysterious and exiting. Most of all it is rated E for everyone. Though marked with "cartoon violence" it is no more "violent" then a mischeiveous & funny Tom & Jerry cartoon. Compleatly harmless. Family freindly and again, you cant miss with this one! It took me 3 days to compleate this game so it should keep your child or children intertained for atleast a week. And even then, you want to play it over again becouse it's actually fun! A little tip, keep a close eye when you reach the stage's Frostbite village & Ice citadel. The eggs are very cleverly hidden. It may be wise to purchase a game guide for this if you are short on patients.

For playstation 2 Spyro: A Hero's Tale, you cant go wrong purchasing THIS game.

AWESOME GAME

My seven year old son loves to play this game. If my seven yeard old (PS2 pro) can play it and has a hard time beating the game then it was worth every penny. I purchase all my Playstation 2 games for my son on ebay and always find a great deal. This was a good buy

I bought this product to replace the game from gamecube to PS2, so I could have all the series on the same console. I did not dislike anything about the game, I the the new power ups and graphics,better game play and action.

Love the game. Family have collected most of the Spyro series since PS1.Great play for all ages.With each new game Spyro learns more. Helps improve memory just to keep track of where you have been.When the kids beat this game they will just start over to improve their score and time.Spyro is a very loveable guy. Like the fact game does not show actual blood or people just shooting each other.
