I just want to start off by saying that I have always been a Spyder person. I just sold my first Spyder electra e-marker and bought this 09 electra. I only paid $75 for it and I think that was a fair price. It is a solid gun, pretty loud though. Much louder than I thought it would be when I was watching the reviews online before I bought it. You should be prepared to drop some cash after you buy this gun if you really want to make it compete against the upper end markers. I bought a TechT hush bolt immediately ($50) then also got a "14 inch deadlywind null carbon fiber barrel ($60) a carbon fiber ninja tank($150) that, honestly as far as I can tell has little noticeable difference in weight from the aluminum guerrilla air tank I have that only cost me 40 bucks. The ninja is much smaller though, but as far as weight goes not much different. I also got a hopper because the one I had before wouldn't have been able to keep up with this electra. I am pissed about this purchase because I bought a Halo hopper for $65 and the one thing you need to have is a sick hopper. I have trouble with my halo it takes me some time to turn it on and off and it's kinda big and bulky and I heard they have problems with them I don't know I mean its definitely not a bad hopper by any means but I was talking to my buddy he said he hasn't replaced the battery in his rotor since he bought it last year. never any problems. If I could have done it over again I would have not gotten the ninja air tank and instead taken that money and put it towards a sick rotor for like $190 and then gotten the ninja tank at a later time because honestly that guerrilla air was fine. My carbon fiber barrel came in the mail and I couldn't believe how light it was then I got it in my head that I needed a carbon fiber tank because that was probably so much lighter too. But, it wasn't.. anyways, I digress, my point is that you will have to drop dough as I'm sure you all know by now but I'm just saying and showing you my receipts hopefully letting you know that if you want to keep up the with better markers your purchases aren't over yet.
More about the gun, it has a lot of cool features on it. ASA on/off switch that lets you control the flow of your air, the bolt couldn't be easier to take out I love it just a snap up and pull back and done. Stock trigger is nothing special, it's awkward actually, really makes me wonder if the people who designed this even shot it. probably not. It has 3 cool modes though semi, ramp psp and millennium psp. oh yeah last thing before I forget it has a nice feed neck but every time you want to take your hopper off or on you have to take out an allen wrench, unscrew it, then screw it back in and I don't know about you guys but I know I could see myself forgetting/loosing it so my next purchase is going to be a clamping feed neck and I'm not sure how much those run but I'm sure it probably can't be very much. Overall 8/10 post upgrades--pre-upgrades can't say. Still had a little problem with it before I played last Sunday. Thing smokes through batteries, get the rechargeable one these batteries are getting pricey between the last one and this one I mean its getting to be a little absurd. hope I helped, take it easy.

This is a great gun!!! Amazing price $96!!!! Lots of fun to play with accurate. Love the ramping mode too! It needs to get fixed cause I took it apart because it was leaking. And now it's leaking more. But that all just comes with owning a paintball gun they need to be constantly fixed oiled and taken apart. I would deff suggest getting a longer barrel though I play on a huge woods ball feild Sø I am considering getting a 21" sniper barrel which would be perfect!! Overall great gun. The only reason it gets a 4 star is because of the leaking problems.

I had to spend $20.00 dollars getting o rings replaced on airtank valve. So, was a little embarrassed when I had to borrow a marker to play for the day. So, I have only used it once. But, I like the marker. It gets a few compliments and shoots straight.

I bought this gun because it looked like a decent gun. I enjoy this product but it is very loud. Also im not sure if this is just because the gun is used or how it was made, but when i press the down part of the trigger it also somtimes presses the top one back; but not a major problem
