| The SpeakerCraft AIM8 Five is part of SpeakerCraft’s patented pivoting in-ceiling speaker series. This means the speaker can be entirely pivoted away from or toward the listener while remaining discretely recessed behind a flush-mounted grille. The SpeakerCraft stereo speaker is excellent for home theater setups because of the tweeter and woofer technology. The SpeakerCraft AIM8 Five is equipped with an 8-inch Kevlar cone woofer, in addition to the 1-inch aluminum/magnesium dome tweeter. Front-mounted switches on the unit allow for up to +/- 3 dB of bass and treble adjustment. The SpeakerCraft stereo speaker offers an accu-grille design that dramatically reduces unwanted acoustic reflections. Boasting a frequency response of a 33 Hz to 20 kHz +/- 2 dB, this pivoting in-ceiling speaker also features SpeakerCraft’s exclusive WavePlane tweeter baffle, which offers a 95 percent solid plane for the tweeter and an 80 percent open area for the woofer, causing even dispersion with less distortion. The SpeakerCraft stereo speaker sports a white grille lined with fabric on the inside so its internal components do not show. | |
