a disappointing update.

disappointing update. story mode not as cool as previous versions, and my favorite character Seung Mina is missing. It would be nice if SoulCalibur added more breakable environments like Dead or Alive. And there's still the messed up stun-hits that some characters get that prevent the opponent from responding. the battle system is borked. avoid.

my first disc didn't work, so of course i was pissed when the 2nd one worked and showed such a schlocky piece of programming.

Horrible

This is by far the worst game in the Soul Calibur franchise. The graphics are terrible and it is matched by the equally horrible story mode which seems like it was thrown together at last minute, since it consists of storyboard drawings between the fights. Furthermore, the fighting in the game doesn't seem improved at all, its as if they didn't even touch up or change the game engine from the previous game. All in all, this game was just terrible and a waist of my money. If I could give it a negative 5 rating I would and that is saying a lot because I loved the franchise up until this point.

Love the character creation

Great game and easy to get into even if your new to it. The story was a bit lame compared to other games of the series, altair made up for that. The multiplayer is pretty cool people are actually not throwing combos and not spamming grabs. Its a great game highly recommended to everyone looking for a fighting game with hardcore stylish competition

I love this game! You can create your own fighter with the style of your favorite soul calibur character. Online gameplay isn't too competetive and very fun. Addicting game for achievement hunters. Over 200 custom player-made characters in the offline quick battle mode.

great game

This is the first time i play soul calibur. I already own virtua fighter 5, tekken, ufc and wrestling. So i am a fighting games fun. This is my feedback:
Great game, many characters to chose from, a lot of modes, and many customization options. Nice graphics, nice sound, nice game-play.
Worth its money.
Can be compared to tekken and virtua fighter in terms of being a good fighting game.
