I think this is a great product. The picture quality is excellent. it is easy to use. Battery life is suitable. And the price was good.
Why did I buy it? I was looking at one on my RC magazine. There was a flyer who uses it to capture his heli in flight.
I use it in the field while flying RC Helis and sometime as a dash-cam.
What do I dislike? There is no power cord, you have to use a laptop or other "USB" to charge it up.
About that Sony boggie MHS-PM5 : Well I am a photographer and I also post short videos on utube and facebook.I was using my Canon XL1 (TOOO BIG) for the jobs but that did not really call for such a tall order. Short interviews, musical presentations, family vids, only requires a bit if you have a SIMPLE video camera, good lighting and nice photo editing software. This is the camera I needed.I can also tell you get more than you expect and not to set your standards to!to! high unless you are just plan to stay an amateur cheap or stupid. For the price,,think about it,,I paid $100 bucks for a nice deal.Sony is the best to work with even compared to Canon. You need good light with any subject any time even infrared requires some sort of beam. KISS "Keep It Simple Skillfully" Little common sense and patients and Pinnacle Studio 14 Editing Software The (Sony bloggie MHS-PM5) will be perfect.Check out some of my videos on Utube search Dwainart and you will see what I do with the video cameras. Its easy to use however not good without lighting. I bought this for my kids to be able to use and capture quick shots and it has been great.
