THE GOOD
Very compact and lightweight; responsive touch-screen interface with no glare or contrast issues; high-contrast E Ink Pearl display; zippier performance than that of its predecessor; integration with Sony e-book store; good battery life (up to two weeks); supports ePub e-book standard, which allows for e-book downloads from libraries.
THE BAD
No Wi-Fi or 3G wireless means you'll need to drag and drop purchased books from a PC or Mac; more expensive than Wi-Fi versions of Kindle and Nook; no protective cover included; Sony Reader Store isn't quite as extensive as Amazon's or Barnes & Noble's.
THE BOTTOM LINE
If you can overlook the fact that it's missing wireless connectivity, the Sony PRS-350 is a very nice little e-reader that's anchored by an impressive and easy-to-use touch interface.

If you need compact ebook sony prs-350 best choice! It has many usefull features like search, notes, marking, translating in any page of your books (I missed this features in prs-300).

I left my first Sony Reader Pocket Edition on a Delta flight to Florida (with about 30 books loaded on it). I was so bummed that someone decided to keep it rather than turn it in. I went to the Sony website and this e-Reader was no longer available, and I didn't like the newer version because the case is plastic, so I headed to EBAY. I found the exact model I lost (the PRS-350SC)and bought it for the same price I paid for my first one, and I could transfer all the books in my Sony e-Reader library on to it. It's comfortable to hold, I love that I just touch the screen lightly to turn the page, and it holds a charge well. This e-Reader fits nicely in one of the pockets in my purse. The only downside is that you have to buy the power adapter separately which I already had done for the one I lost (so whoever found my first one will have to buy an adapter to charge it). Oh, and there is a way to password protect it so no one can else can access it and I have passworded my new one!

I bought it as a gift to my wife. But I fell in love with it for many reasons, small, simple, no startup time, 2 weeks battery life (for me), to make small notes etc. Yes im going to buy another one for myself.
I am extremely happy with the product. I read a lot of papers for my research and the device handle them all perfectly. I have to say that I am used to read very small and therefore the device has minimal reflowing to do.
The only downfall of the PRS-950 compared to others is that it is fairly slow.

Very light in hand, quite a large screen. Stylish, with good grip. Pleasant to the touch. In itself is small. Comfortable, wide viewing angle. Rapidly changing the page.
