THE GOOD
Integrated TV and Google TV software enables potential access to virtually all video sources media through one interface and search bar; full Chrome browser supports Flash and HTML5 video; includes RF QWERTY remote; built-in Wi-Fi; user interface overlays over TV content from cable/satellite box; can control TV, AV receiver, and cable/satellite box with external IR emitters; Android Market coming in 2011; relatively accurate color performance; sleek design; plenty of power-saving options.
THE BAD
Poor screen uniformity apparent with many Google TV sources; produces light black levels; some flashing in shadows at times; frustrating touch pad and overlarge keyboard on remote; sparse analog connectivity; major content providers like Hulu, CBS, and ABC are currently blocking Google TV; interface geared toward power users; Google's "universal" search doesn't search Netflix; antiquated Netflix interface; limited app selection at launch; lag and some bugs with current software.
THE BOTTOM LINE
Easily the most capable Internet-connected TV ever made, Sony's NSX-GT1 series calls for a tech-savvy buyer who can live with Google TV's growing pains, a touchy remote, and so-so picture quality.

The Sony NSX40GT1 is an excellent tv for the price that I paid (around $600.00). The picture is beautiful and the apps are awesome. I love the "built in" Netflix and there are apps that allow me to watch videos and listen to music from my Windows file shares (a huge plus for me). I am very dissappointed in the input selection, however. It has four USB, four HDMI, RF, and one component input. It does not have any RCA input however, and the HDMI inputs suffer from horrible input lag for which there is no current cure. Fortunately one may buy an RF modulator for RCA input for around 12 bucks and there is no input lag on either the RF or the component inputs so this tv can still be used for console gaming. The only real complaint I have about this tv aside from the lack of a RCA input is the input lag. I wanted to use this tv as a second monitor for my desktop computer but the input lag is so annoying that I prefer not to. I wish that there was a setting to turn off the post processing for use with computer and console inputs.

Its a Good Looking TV. This TV Works well. Great Picture and SOund. Love the Android Operating System. When this TV is online there is almost nothing it can not do. The best Sony Television to date

Received my Sony google TV on Tuesday. So far I love it. Haven't had a chance to full discover all it's features yet, but Im having a ball trying. Two thumbs up, plus 5 stars. Tina B.
