I bought my phone not long ago and it is very nice so far.
This is my first smartphone so I must get used to it but I enjoy the surface. I miss multitouch a bit but I can definitely live without it. The phone is really cute, especially designed for my small hands that was the most important reason for my choice. It seems more useful as a smartphone than the X10 mini since the screen is a bit bigger but the phone itself is still small, so I can see the display, maps and stuff better... It's a pity I could not upgrade my OS yet but will do so as soon as I have time. Even though it is all plastic it seems to be a nice little tough phone: I've dropped it several times (at least 5 times in 2 weeks) from quite big heights and still not broken yet. Hope it will stay the same...
Would recommend it to ladies, for guys I would rather go for another phone.
I bought this phone after looking at buying the x10. The reason I chose this over the x10 is the smaller package but still have all the features. (you do give up a 4" screen for a 3"). I love all the free apps but without getting the phone rooted you are limited to how many you can have because of the small phone memory space. I love all of the features except for the touch screen. For someone that calls automated phones or even just voicemail they are extremely irritating. Regular phone calls are just fine. If your emphasis is on the features it is very sastifying and enjoyable.
I bought the Sony Ericsson X8 three weeks ago and I love it. It works like a dream especially when you've gotten used to everything. It's a great phone to have and carry around. It's very unique since no one around here has an unlock phone. Great phone to have, but I am looking forward to upgrade it to the X10 since the X8 is nice but a little small.
No signal strenght, too much static, battery does not last more than a day without calling anyone, Some of the menu items are in chinese (maybe only on the one i ened up with), Overall: really poor quality, not something i would evpect from Sony.
I bought it, because of its appearance and functions.
I Like everything of this mobile, except the led flash.
Compared to others like Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc, this is OK.
