Its very compact.
It comes with all the a/c and d/c adapters.
The screen turns 180 degrees, and folds flat.
DVD viewing and sound are great, including two headphone outputs for private listening.
The unit also has video/sound input which allows us to plug our RV backup camera into it and use it as a monitor for that system.
Also we can plug our digital still camera into it for sharing photos with family and friends.
Loaded with features for the traveler.
Battery life is good enough to finally watch a full length feature or 2 without recharge.
I do not have any dislikes.
I bought this product to take on camping trips with our two kids. The product was very helpful because it kept the kids entertained during the long car ride and at night in the tent. The screen is very large and clear. An added bonus was the output and input capabilities with the right cords I was able to connect their xbox to it allowing us to play video games. The only drawback is the speakers are not very loud. It does have two headphone jacks.
I bought this for my 4 year autistic son for when we fly to Disney this coming January. I like the fact that it has a long battery life and I can turn the screen around so he cannot play with the disc area of the player. What I disliked about the player is the headphones are the ones that go around the back of your neck and around your ears. For any other normal kid that would be fine, but for a kid that has certain sensitivities like my son does to textures, sounds, and light too much can be a bad thing. So I went out and bought soft cushioned sound reducing headphones for him. Huge difference in sound and comfort quality. The picture and the sound without the headphones is so much better the some of the other portable dvd players that I looked at. The screen size is perfect for any age. I watched it for a little while before giving it to him to see if I liked it. Really great machine.
When I first started looking at portable dvd players the one thing I was most concerned about was the battery life. Most of the other brands only held a 2 hour +/- charge. Sony says 6 hours "/-. That's why I chose the Sony. Costs a little more but I think it's worth it.
