The Sony 9 inch DVP-FX958 is overall a good buy but the battery life is a little short. I had the 7 inch Sony DVD player and expected it to be comprable. The sound is great as well as the picture.
I bought this for a long flight to Florida I am worried it will not last the entire flight.
I like the large screen and can understand why the battery wears out so quickly.
Item was just what daughter was looking for.. The quick shipping was a bonus as she needed it during her work. Works better than her original unit and good quality picture and sound..

Great product, crisp picture and sound. There might be better ones out there but the cost isn't in the same ballpark and this is really great. I bought to give as a gift to inmates in a prison to use for educational purposes.
