| The Sony DSX-S310BTX in-dash receiver is a detachable face stereo receiver designed for use in vehicles. The unit is a USB/MP3 in-dash receiver that supports multiple formats including digital media and radio frequency playback options. This Sony in-dash receiver has a USB port as well as an AM/FM tuner for receiving radio transmission. It also includes an iPod connection for digital file playback via an iPod or other compatible MP3-enabled devices. The Sony in-dash receiver is also HD ready and Sirius Radio ready. The Sony DSX-S310BTX in-dash receiver can switch between the sources at any given point, providing a diverse listening experience. The tuner for this unit can hold up to 18 presets for FM and 12 presets for AM in the tuner memory. The USB-based playback in this USB/MP3 in-dash receiver decodes MP3, WMA, and AAC file types. This Sony receiver is FAT16/32-compatible for digital media with decoding for MP3, WMA, and AAC files. The unit is compatible with multiple iPod and iPhone models including the iTouch, iPhone 3GS, and iPhone 4. The unit can accept audio sources via Bluetooth connectivity and may also be used to make phone calls from the vehicle via the receiver unit. i love the fact that my ipod touch fits in the stereo couldnt ask for anything better the sound how easy it is to use hooking up a bluetooth phone or ipod touch work great and the mic is so clear my wife couldn't tell it was through the radio
I wanted something simple and fun at the same time. I only wished the interface could change colors than just blue and red. But overall this is a good product and has many features. Its easy to navigate and the mic for the bluetooth is crisp.

Versatile, easy to setup, great for marine application even if not intended for boat, work and sound realy good. The only down is the joystick that won't work for long , happy that they're à remote
