Produces relatively deep black levels; accurate color in bright areas; solid dejudder processing in Standard mode; numerous picture controls; plenty of connectivity with four HDMI, two component-video and one PC input.
- THE BAD
Dark areas tinged bluish; must engage dejudder to enable antiblur; pedestrian design; less uniform screen.
- THE BOTTOM LINE
The commendable picture quality of Sony's entry-level 120Hz-equipped LCD makes it a very good value.

) After months of researching, pricing, shopping, comparing, I found that the KDL52V5100 was the absolute best quality at an unbeatable price! It has all the benefits and quality of the much higher priced models (up to 3xhigher)! Factory warranty, visual clarity, component adapter inserts, plus all the options and then some. The user manual is very understandable, I'm still going through all the fun of setting up all the options - there's so much versitility. The refresh rate is awesome and it's like being right there, aside from being WONDERFULLY BIG! Having a 3yr old, I was concerned too with the stability, and we have NOT mounted this to the wall as it is extremely stable on our media table connected to the provided base that comes with the tv. Definitly a 5* purchase & recommended to anyone going through the search like I did - Good Luck!

) This tv has all the perks, from syncing your components, to easy to use remote, almost thinking free. The color and sharpness is very clear and adjustable for any type of movie, sport, or concert, you may be watching.
The wonderful thing about this Sony tv is the auto settings, like how wide you want your picture or if you desire all the settings can be done manually. All on screen instructions and ease of use from settings to hook up. The on site help, or phone help is very complete and the techs are very patient with you.
The slots for other components are in easy to use area's and the benefits of hookng up game machines or cameras are a breeze.
The design is top notch and blends in with any decor.

I love this tv ! It has a great picture that is plenty bright for a room the has many windows and is very bright. I love that it has so many connections for ext devices.
