Sony KDL-40EX500 40'' LCD Television

the soni that i purchased, had the highest resolution, and the best refresh rate i could find in the size i wanted. once i up graded to hdtv on my dish system i am now life a fly at the city dump. i can't believe people have been watching T.V. that looks like this and never invited me over. maybe it's me, but thats O.K. now I'M good. this is a great T.V. at a fair price as long as something new does'nt show up tomorrow that makes this setup look weak. to sum it up i'm watching movies that i would never watch before just because the picture and effects are so sharp and clean! can't wait for football season to start up again!

good quality tv and good price

This tv is good for watching tv, movies and for playing video games as well. I liked the colors the tv gives you it adjust to the room lighting so its eazy on your eyes. They say the regular tv speakers don't sound well but its not bad. It doesn't take much space either its slim for its size. I'm very satisfied for wat I paid for =)

The 40EX500 is worth the money.

I bought the 40ex500 from Walmart on Dec. 10, 2011. All features work well and the picture quality is excellent.Only problem is with the remote control. You can't figure out how to open it to insert batteries.The sound must be changed for each channel and each channel has a different range. All in all it's a very good buy for the moaey.

as real as avatar!

i'm bought tv to make my ps3 come to life.i'm don't have any dislike.this is my 1st hdtv & i'm very impressed.this tv so nice it made my ps3 seem like i was playing avatar the movie.

I like everything about the tv,except that it has a bad pixel in the upper middle right hand corner of the picture.Which is always red.And its really noticable in the dark and when the picture is dark.Dont know if its even worth the trouble of messing with exchanging it or of its fixable.
