Movie synopsis
A science-fiction program with a unique and malleable conceit, SLIDERS was among the most popular shows of its genre during the 1990s. Quinn Mallory (Jerry O'Connell) is a 20-something genius who has invented a device that allows him to travel through dimensions. He invites his friend Wade and Professor Maximillian Arturo to witness his first operation of the device, which goes horribly wrong. Following the third-season climax that sent Wade and the professor back home, Quinn continues his fantastic adventures in this fourth season. Joined by former soul singer Rembrandt Brown (Cleavant Derricks), Captain Maggie Beckett (Kari Wuhrer), and Quinn's brother Colin (Charlie O'Connell, a new addition), the group find themselves hurtling through alternate dimensions, battling the Kromagg Dynasty, and searching for the elusive Earth Prime. This set collects all 22 episodes of the fourth season.

Another addition to the show.

If your a fan of the show it's a few more to watch. But for me it's really lacking the feel of the first two seasons. No more professor or wade for sexual tension. They have a new female for him to flirt with. Really this season shows the decline of the show as a whole. For me personally I watched it all one but no much rewatch value. To me it came off as a semi original plot to get back home then turned into quasi rip off of quantum leap. so in close for a fan of the show a average addition. other wise I wouldn't waste my time.

Bad acting, great what if!

I love this series! Great "what if" plots, not the best acting, but hey, it's Sci-Fi, you can't expect too much from that. I haven't seen the third or fourth seasons yet, but the first two hooked me enough to buy seasons three and four here on eBay. Be careful though, season four seems to be the hardest to find at a cheap price that is.

Sliders Season 4 DVD

It's taken Sliders a long time to finish releasing this series. I am still awaiting Season 5. But all in all this season was okay. I didn't like the makeup work on the Kromags, and every story seemed to be focused on that one story line, I did enjoy the episode were the sliders slid into a world where your mind is digitally downloaded into the Hotel they usally stay at. Maggie played by Kari Whurer was sexy hott but needed a better Hair Stylest for the shows, she didn't fit her character at all. But her busty image did keep me tuned in to the next episode.

sliders full of fun for everyone

fun and exciting, a great scifi adventure for everyone to enjoy. action adventure full of exciting new worlds, every episode a new journey, every episode a new world of exploring. sliders was one of my favorite shows. i am glad to have found it on dvd.
