Season 5 was a good season, but finale had some problems.

I enjoyed the ENTIRE Sliders series. I now have all 5 seasons.
I thought the series was thought provoking as well as entertaining by exploring alternate realities in parallel universes.

I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in how they ENDED the series. We NEVER find out if Rembrant (Remmy) makes it safely back to EARTH PRIME (HIS Earth) to stop the Kromags that have invaded his Earth. To add insult to injury, the Sliders are told on the Earth that they slid to that if they slide AGAIN they will die.

The show ended RIDICULOUSLY with the characters that were left saying "What do we do now?" and then the screen fades to black. What an INSULT!! The LOYAL followers of Sliders, who brought the show back after being canceled by the network, THANK YOU, deserve a better ending for the show that they followed LITERALLY, for years. It was as if the writers just said "TO HELL WITH THIS" in the middle of the episode and it wasn't finished PROPERLY.

I thought the packaging was CHEESY. It was like the OTHER seasons, but it would SEEM that since BLUE dominated the packaging, that they would put the discs in a BLUE BOX to go with the theme. You would THINK that after taking SO LONG (Almost 15 years)to release the DVD set, that it would AT LEAST come with an EPISODE LISTING, the OTHER seasons did. For the criticisms given, I enjoyed the SEASON as well as the SERIES. It's a KEEPER!!

sliders one of the best sci fi series of all time

I love the series except for the part were they never finished it the last episode just leaves u woundering, its a shame they didn't make a sixth season, but its good to have if your like me and missed a few episodes
