Movie synopsis
Eddie Burns (Ving Rhames) is a retired Reno cop with fifteen years under his belt. During the pursuit of alleged cop killer, Eddie lost a portion of his arm and became disillusioned with his profession. When his sister, Cassie (Kerry Washington), goes missing, he becomes hell-bent on bringing her to safety. Unfortunately for him, her life now lies in the hands of maniacal drug lord Charlie (Gary Oldman), whose past is intertwined with Eddie's.

This movie stars Ving Rhames and of course, i have not seen any bad movies with him in it. this movie shows a much softer side of ving caring about family and the protection levels he goes to, to defend and protect. he does this with having a physical handicap and the performs is extremely well. i recommend this movie to all that want to collect mr. rhames action type movies.
I got this movie because it has Gary Oldman in it, and I'm a very big fan of his work. The movie itself isn't anything special, the plot is basically about revenge and drugs. The acting however, is superb. Ving Rhames and Gary Oldman do alot with what they were given and give very powerful, believable performances. I would recommend this movie to someone looking for a good performance, and not necessarily a good plot or storyline.
Though the movie doesn't develop as well as some of his other works, Gary Oldman is impressive as ever in Sin. He is the villain, and for me, it was his performance that saved the movie from purely mundane.
