Bart Vs. the space mutants is a title I used to play as a child, and it really is quite terrible, but.... in that way that makes you love it dearly. It really is quite fun, the graphics and sound are awful and the premise of the game is simply dull.. This one will only cost you roughly 6 bucks (shipping included) or 3-5 if you find it at your local game store and is well worth every penny. plain and simple , if you love retro gaming with a passion , don't pass this title up because of it's critical inadequacies, it truly is worth a play through and is delightful... in the worst way...

Bart vs the Space Mutants is a classic both for old school gamers and for Simpsons fanatics. Fortunately, I am both. I love its 8-bit goodness and it's Simpsons awesomeness. It will make a great addition to my multi-media Simpsons collection.

Difficult at first, but satisfying to fans!

When I was a kid, I must have rented this game a hundred times. Each time, the game spent less than fifteen minutes in the NES, because it was so hard to play! Flash from 1991 to 2008, and I decided to give it another try. I had to do some research online to figure out some of the tricks to the game, and if you’re thinking about buying it… I would suggest you do the same!
I bought the game, first and foremost, because I am a huge Simpsons fan! If you are the same, you’ll find many neat things in the game from the first and second seasons of the show. Plus, you get to paint Moe the Bartender red… who wouldn’t love that?
All in all, after you get past the frustration of learning how to play this game, you’ll love it.

Oldie but goodie

I think there were three or four Simpsons games to come out for the NES. This is one of my favorites. It is sort of difficult, but overall this is a pretty good game.
