Pretty Good Race Game

This game is much more stable than Shift 1, and I did like the Shift 2 helmet cam, the replay save feature and the more realistic damage model, but it looks like they cut back a little on the Shift 2 graphics detail and I preferred the Shift 1 narrative, but that's a minor concern. I think I'd prefer the first game overall if I could get it to quit locking-up/ lagging. A Stage 3 Porsche Cayman on the SPA GP track is AWESOME! Also, I didn't like the force/ feedback on my Logitech Driving Force Pro in either game as NFS 5 Porsche Unleashed has a much better feel on that wheel.

Crap!

This will be the last penny I EVER spend on an ea racing game.... The engine sounds are antiquated, like the old coleco and Atari games. The sound loop must be 10 - 20 years old. I was using my keyboard while waiting for my Logitech G27 steering wheel. the car would loose traction at 15-20 MPH around turns, while my opponents flew by me. I WISH I COULD GET A REFUND!

very good career mode, but disappointing online environment.

I have not been playing this game so frequently these last days, but this is generally a good gran turismo-like racing title. The only visibly negative remark I make concerns the online environment, which is not so interactive and feels a little boring.

Very good, but not enought!

This is a good game. It's better then others Need for Speed games because it's like a simulation, not arcade. You will have some hours of fun, if you play it online with friends. However, currently this is not the best racing game. I recently bought the Dirt 3 game, which has far more qualities.

Awsome! Alot smoother gameplay than the 1st NFS Shift.

It runs much smoother than the 1st Need For Speed Shift. The cars are much more predictable, more controllable. I havent gotten to deep in the game since i just got it today, but so far I'm loving it. I havent had any of the issues I've read of other gamers haveing.
