Well, the TV that I bought on Ebay arrived with a smashed screen so I ended up paying a little more buying the same model from DELL.
Even with the incinvenience of shipping the broken one back and buying another, I'm very happy with this HDTV. The picture is about as good as I have seen on any LCD TV. The five HDMI inputs is an excellent feature that few other brands can match.
The ten watt X 2 loud speakers are the only weak feature on this model but to be honest, most TVs come with lousy speakers. I had planned from the start to use a home theater system for sound anyway so this was a non-issue for me.
I purchased an Onkyo HT-S9100 7.1 THX 1200 watt home theater system which works wonders with this TV. With the advent of HDMI connections, everything integrates so nicely with many fewer wires to deal with. This TV and sound system truely puts you in a special league for movie viewing. My girl is a movie lover and she says this new system blows the movie theater experience away! And she's right. It does!
Crystal clear picture and sound that rocks the room at a bargain price! If you're on the fence about buying this TV or the Onkyo, go for it! You will be quite pleased.
After much study,I narrowed my choice to Sony,Samsung,or Sharp.I chose Sharp
because of price. So far,I'm very pleased with my choice. The picture is excellent.
While I plan to add surrond sound,I find no fault with the TV speakers,as did
This sharp tv is the best tv out there for the Money.Very easy to set up.They could improve the remote. You should use a Bose system for the best sound.
