Sharp AQUOS LC-40LE835U 40" Full 3D 1080p HD LCD Internet TV

The SHARP AQUOS LC-40LE835U is stacked with high-end specs. From its native 1920x1080p resolution, energy efficient LED lighting technology, amazing picture/color, great upscaling capabilities, 4 HDMI inputs, a VGA/RGBHV input, even a classic RCA Red/White/Yellow input, and a great remote control, it covers all the avenues I wanted in a new television.
The only downsides I can really find with this particular model are the absence of an S-Video input, and only one Component video input. I would like to have at least two YPrPb inputs, but that is a very minor factor.
This 40" LED television has surpassed my expectations for picture quality, having arguably the best color palette I've seen in newer televisions. The Blacks in DVD and BluRay movies are super-black, the colors are vivid, and whites don't look tinted. Color calibration was a cinch. The existing pre-settings for color are good, but as with everything, to get the best from a product, a little augmentation does no harm.
The only feature I haven't taken the liberty of trying is 3D - I'm not extremely anxious to do so, but I'm certain that its capabilities will fall in line with the new generation of the technology, if not slightly exceed it.
Overall, this HD/3DTV is worth the price of purchase. If you can get a great deal on one, I would suggest it over a comparable model from any other manufacturer.
