Movie synopsis
Four best friends from the American South decide on a final round of wild parties, romantic interludes and true love experiences before going their separate ways. Shag, The Movie & Childhood Memories

I watched this movie when I was younger. It has a great soundtrack. I decided to try to find the movies I loved when I was younger and build my dvd collection so that I can pass these movies on to my nieces for them to enjoy.
I immediately watched and it was just how I remembered.
Thanks for bringing back some great memories!
A great movie for the young or old.
It's about 4 girls who are supposed to be heading to one place but a couple of them decide they are going to Myrtle Beach for the summer. There's boys and men and dancing and the big summer party.
Not just a typical 'chick flick', even my husband enjoyed it!

Wonderful!

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

I love this movie! Being from South Carolina and of a generation to remember Myrtle Beach BEFORE it was so commercialized, it was a nostalgic trip for me--the music, the shag, the landmarks. I was pleased to make this purchase as I had been looking for the movie for some time. It was like a red-lettered day when I received a notice that it was available!

Loved This Movie,Been Wanting It For A Long Time,Seen It About 6 years Ago.I Love Going To Myrtle Beach Every Summer On Vacation,& This Movie Was Filmed In Myrtle Beach,I can Watch This Movie Over & Over And Never Get Tired Of It.

Love it!!

Shag is a great classic chick flic - set in the 60's South. Great music! Great movie!!! Much more innocent than movies of today. You'll enjoy some great laughs at this coming of age movie.

Shag - A Classic Old-Time Beach Movie

This movie may seem a little cheesy at times but it brings back good memories of a girls' last hurrah before adulthood. Also, it has some great photo shots of Myrtle Beach, SC and in the past few years, a lot of those landmarks (motels, etc.) have been demolished due to progress. So I also bought it as a piece of memorabilia.
