The Satanic Rites of Dracula

This was Chistopher Lee and Peter Cushing's last outings as Dracula/Van Helsing. I remember reading that Christopher left the role because he felt the scripts for them were getting weak and after seeing it I can see why. While it wasnt the worst of the Hammer Horror films it definitely doesnt have the appeal of the earlier films. Now this film isnt all bad as still has some great performances by Lee and Cushing and also some great nude scenes with some comely young ladies. All in all its not a bad film just not the best. Go with the earlier Lee Dracula films as they are much better in my honest opinion.

Not Hammer's greatest, but disco + vampires = fun.

Any movie starring both Christopher Lee and Peter Cushing is worth the price of admission. Some have complained about this one being set in the 1970's, but I enjoyed the entire film. It has a distinct Hammer feel and the blend of 1970's London culture with the Dracula legend is quite enjoyable. The scenes with Cushing and Lee are lively and well done overall. The plot is rather lackluster, though in this film, one of the latest Dracula entries, Dracula is concerned with world domination, a twist I can't recall being present in other movies. I would recommend it to any horror fan.

Since I started shopping on ebay, I have been having a world of fun. I'll
never just go up town to buy something, without first looking on ebay. I
found this old movie put on DVD on ebay. I was very surprised. I love the old horror flicks, and Christopher Lee is my choice for Count Dracula. He
makes you want to get bitten. This is a movie all, young or old can enjoy.
Without having to be concerned about sex, nudity, profanity or filth. This
is make believe and everyone knows that. It is't like other horror movies
that people copycat, and commit murder.

The Satanic Rites of Dracula (70s Movie) (2000, DVD)

...this movie is from the 70's from the looks of it, so there is a heads up for you.
This is not a jump out and scare you kind of movie, it is about a secret Cult that wants to resurrect Dracula. I used the fast forward button alot to get to the end of the movie. Sorry, Christopher Lee Fans.

It just was not my cup of ... blood.

If you like C. Lee you may enjoy this movie ????????
If your looking for a scare or on the edge of your seat action I would have to say this is not the movie.
