For less than $100 this is a nice radio- crisp and loud, the buttons and menus are fairly well laid out and it's got an HD tuner. I don't give it 5 stars because of one tragic flaw- it's got HD, yes, but not the extra HD channels. Just the regular FM broadcast with HD1. AM reception is hardly stellar, but AM HD is cool, nearly as crisp as regular analog FM.
If you want the full HD experience, then, buy a different radio. JVC makes several, the KD-HD**R series, but I gotta say the Sanyo has a more sensible face layout.
I like all the various inputs, front and back, etc. I like the MP3 and WMA CD capability. About the only thing it's lacking is a USB input, but for the money it's got a lot.
So drop this unit in when the factory radio in your spare car goes south, it's worth the money these are going for these days.

Bought radio for wifes vehicle, as the factory one quit. Radio works great. What I don't like about it is it either just has a 24 hour clock or we can not figure out how to change it to a 12 hour clock!! Kinda bums her out!!
