Great sound and features in a tiny package, but poor battery life.

After enjoying a couple of the previous generation Clip players, I decided to try this one. The new screen displays album art, and the menu buttons are easy to navigate. I must say I am disappointed with it only because the battery life is too short for my liking. I could listen to my old clip all afternoon before recharging, but the new clip goes dead after only an hour or two. I believe the color screen and sophisticated display draw a lot more power than the old version. So I am back to my old clip while this one sits in a drawer.

Great Product! Perfect for running or working out!

This is a great little mp3 player. I use it for running and it is exactly what I wanted. It's so cheap you really can't go wrong, it even comes with a few good songs to get you started. I bought it under the assumption that it was just 4GB, only to find out after I purchased it that it has a microsdcard slot! You can cram even more memory into this tiny device. The interface is intuitive and easy to use, and the battery life is excellent. If you are looking for a little mp3 for running or working out, look no further.

awesome product! great value for the money!

i bought this sansa clip zip as i didnt want to spend too much on media players like sony. but when i got it, i was in a real surprise. i never compromise on my music quality and this player didnt let me down at all. powerful sound, great eqs, doesn't lag and easy to use, m not a fan of clip thing in the back but it doesn't come in way and is handy, micro usb and micro sd card slot are also handy. very good value for money.

Frustrating

Battery life is really about 2.5 hours under ordinary use. Likes to back it self up for hours of wasted time. sound quality good if you upgrade firmware.

Quality and convenience at a great price.

It is very convenient and the simplistic nature allows for less hassle and more listening. I use this instead of my iPod, iTunes really botched my music library, so with this I can eliminate that problem while still maintaining high quality audio playback.
