This is my first smart phone and I am already very impressed. I was between Iphone and Samsung Galaxy and I went to Walmart and Best Buy to look at those phones closely. After I used Iphone4S and Samsung Galaxy (different versions; epic, infuse, S2...), I decided on Samsung Infuse. You may not agree with me on this but after I spent some time playing with Samsung Galaxy, Iphone4S seemed like a toy to me (sorry Apple fans, this is my personal view). Galaxy's screen is bigger (4.5"), much brighter and Galaxy seems a lot easier to use. I have to mention the microSD-card slot in Samsung Infuse which I can use to extend the memory. I take a lot of pictures and record plenty of videos (I travel a lot) and I can simply change the microSD-card if memory is full without having to connect and transfer my files to a computer. Android market (now called Google play, what a weird name?) is full of free applications. Battery life seems shorter than what I expected as I need to recharge it daily. Maybe there is an issue with the battery so I ordered two more new batteries :) Or, it is because I use the phone a lot (not for making many phone calls but rather to discover phone's features which is not surprising with so many applications installed). Phone has a big screen but doesn't feel too big in my hand. It is easy to grab and feels comfortable to use. 8megapixel camera does a great job. Single core processor seems good at handling all jobs fairly well. I don't have any complaints at the moment and I am very happy with my decision on buying Infuse over Iphone. So, hopefully my next phone will be a Samsung Galaxy S3(!) with some improved features :) By the way, my personal impression is that Samsung Infuse is pretty much like Samsung Galaxy S2 in terms of features but it is slightly cheaper on the market. Most likely due to the differences of single (Infuse) and duo (S2) processors as well as screen size (Infuse is 4.5" and S2 is 4.3"). Probably there are some other minor differences but their overall performances are pretty close. So, if you want to spend less money for a Galaxy phone and you are between S2 and Infuse, I would recommend Infuse. My phone came unlocked and I use with with T-mobile. Reception is good, no dropped calls and navigation works just fine. If you prefer to use your home wireless for connecting your phone to internet and not pay extra money, then make sure to turn off data plan feature (Go to settings, wireless and networks, mobile networks, and uncheck "data enabled"). Otherwise, your phone connects to internet using T-mobile (or AT&T) server and you will pay a lot for internet usage. If you have an unlimited data plan with your phone company, then there is no need to do this. If you want to explore every feature your phone has, then go to AT&T website and search for Samsung Infuse 4G. Click on tutorials and enjoy your phone.
The Infuse 4G is another solid offering from Samsung that we think those of you with wide pockets and big hands are going to fall in love with. It doesn't quite reach the blistering processor speeds of others like the Atrix, doesn't have a fancy composite back. It does, however, have a stunning screen that's big and the kind of battery life that could finally put your charge anxiety to rest.
The Infuse 4G features a large and vibrant 4.5" Super Amoled touch screen that's great for browsing and videos. The Android smartphone is ultrathin and has an 8 megapixels camera and superb performance.
iPhone is meeting its match... Highly recommended, but add more memory!!!
A wonderful machine.
One of the best on the market by a combination of price and quality.
The bright, high contrast display with vivid colors.
Comfortable size.
Thin.
Easy to use.
One of the best photo-cameras on the market, including mobile phones.
Strict stylish design.
Definitely recommend to buy.
By the way, this color cell phone is much better than the SGSII
I have to admit, at first the Samsung Infuses 1.2 ghz single core processor and android 2.2 froyo os ON PAPER did not impress me. After seeing all the other great specs (especially the 4.5 Super AMOLED plus screen) and doing a lot of research, I decided to march down to the AT&T store and give the Samsung Infuse a test drive. After playing with the Infuse for about an hour (because I couldn't keep my hands off of it) I realized that the 1.2 ghz processor wasn't to bad at all! Web browsing was a breeze, multi-media was smooth with no choppiness at all. The screen DEFINATELY lived up to the hype. Super AMOLED plus is AWESOME! The colors BURST off the screen and the blacks were the deepest and richest I've ever seen on a smart phone. The camera and video were amazing on it's 8 Mega Pixel camera as well. I also uploaded some sample video to youtube which looked great. The Infuse was very light in my hands although felt very durable as well. Texting on the Infuse was a breeze on it's huge display which I was very happy to see since I have huge hands and the small smart phones just don't cut it. The Infuses features reminded me a lot of the HTC inspire. After testing the Samsung infuse I decided to test the IPhone 4... to say the least, I was not impressed. The Samsung Infuse BLOWS the IPhone out of the water from display to browsing speed. The HTC inspire was comparable as far as speed (although the HTC inspire was a little slower at 1 ghz as expected) and ease of use were concerned, however, display wise it paled in comparison to the Infuse. In my honest opinion, to date, the Samsung Infuse is AT&T's top android phone and would recommend it to anyone looking for a great phone with reliable and up to par specs.
*****FAIR WARNING, THE SAMSUNG GALAXY S 2 WILL BE REACHING THE USA SOON AND WILL COME TO AT&T AS THE SAMSUNG ATTAIN. THE ATTAIN WILL BE A SUPER VERSION OF THIS PHONE WITH A 1.2 GHZ DUAL CORE PROCESSOR. AT THE PRESENT MOMENT THE SAMSUNG INFUSE 4G IS THE BEST ANDROID ON AT&T TO DATE, THIS MAY CHANGE, HOWEVER, AS SOON AS EARLY TO MID SEPTEMBER! IF YOU CAN WAIT AND YOU ARE A NUT FOR THE BIGGEST AND BEST YOU MAY WANT TO WAIT IT OUT FOR THIS BEAST!*****

Have owned many phones and this definitely ranks as number one. You really can't get a good idea of the screen until you see it in person - super AMOLED blows the retina display from Apple out of the water. Blacks are deep and true, colors are vivid and pop out of the screen. Use it to watch netflix quite a bit and my eyes never get tired from the display. Battery life is exemplary for the screen size and thinness - definitely recommended above other options from HTC, Apple, and Blackberry. 1.2GHZ is just as fast as dual core offerings from Motorola and the user interface is easy for first timers to learn. Much more customization options than Apple OS. Don't second guess yourself, buy it!
