OUTSTANDING! THIS MODEL IS A 5*****ALL THE WAY.

I always spend a lot of time thoroughly researching any big ticket items I am going to purchase, sometimes for several months. So when the time finally arrived to take that great step from the old 30" Magnavox to the HD flat screen, my research began. I compared this TV to LG, Vizio, Dynex, Panasonic, as well as other Samsung models. The high ratings from other customers along with the features offered on this flat screen for the price outweighed the rest hands down.
It was a great decision and I am absolutely & completely pleased. This is an awesome TV in every way. The size is perfect, picture quality is crisp, clear and sharp. Color is awesome. I spent a great deal of time learning the functions and adjusting a few of the settings from the factory settings. These minor adjustments brought this TV from Excellent to Absolutely Outstanding. The wifi connect was a snap. Start up set up was simple.
My purchase also came with a free wall mount (what a great deal)and this is probably the only area that presented a challenge. Not because of the TV, nor because of the mount but it was due to the older home I own and the wall mounts today don't allow for adjustments (at least what we needed)so we had to modify the mounting a bit. If we had a newer built home that too would have been a snap.
Although we do have a home theater system connected, the TV sound really wasn't too bad and certainly could be heard easily but of course as with any TV the audio quality is not the best. I don't think any of the flat screens are built for their audio anyway but it was fine until we could get to the home theater connections.
If you are able to find this model at a good price don't hesitate. You will love it.

Great Smart TV with shortcomings one would expect from LED projection.

This is not a 3-D but I did not want one. I primarily was looking for a slightly larger, thinner and lighter screen than my current Samsung plasma with internet capabilities. Picture is really not as good as my Samsung plasma but I think that is the difference between plasma and LED. Does have light at edges on some video showings but not on others. Also as to be expected, picture fades as angle of viewing increases - again not the same as plasma. The streaming internet and Wi-Fi capabilities are great and are quickly transforming how we watch TV. I like the remote that lights up, something I have wanted for years when trying to use a remote in a dark room. The sound quality is surprisingly good as well and represents an improvement over my Samsung plasma which is about 3 years old. I did not compare this to other brands as I have been extremely happy with all Samsung products I have purchased.

picture quality: i did months of comparison in bestbuy, costo, walmart and target. talked to other customers and store rep. found this tv has the highest clearity and contrast. i have extreme motion-sickness, fuzzy pictures, uneven color and unstable motion easily make my head spinning and belly hurting. after 3 months of watching this one, no such complains. aslo my living room facing west, during the evening the setting sun shines into the screen. my previous tv could be ugly and half unwatchable. it is still a problem with this tv. but is way more watchable and clearer. with the window shade (leaking) the shining spots are hardly noticable

feature: very easy to setup. one thing of buying a new tv is that new tv is higher tech. i have had problem with lower tech, instructions and hood-up of various components. i have not used the wifi and qweeky board as yet. solely using it as a old fashion tv. i just found there are too many things of the tv i have been wasting. no complain


value of money: it is cheaper than my first generation of 32" 460p hdtv, its quality is 10x better, and weighs about half.
