The Samsung SyncMaster P2450h looks sharp, its onscreen menu is cool, its price is decent, and it performs well for a general-use monitor.
The P2450h's colors are inaccurate--thanks to having a green push problem--causing its picture to look dull, especially in movie and games, and its high black level causes its picture to lose dark details.
The Samsung SyncMaster P2450h is a decent general-use monitor, but better monitors are available.

I bought this product because my Previous Samsung Syncmaster monitor suffered an accident that permanantly damaged the screen.
This is a great monitor for all types of use. You can use it for internet browsing, gaming, editing (video or audio), presentations, and much more.
The 24" widescreen LCD HD display is excellent for watching your favorite DVDs, Streaming movies, YouTube, and much more in crystal clear High-Definition.
This is a great investment if you are looking for a great Widescreen monitor and you can afford it.
The built in MagicBright controls that are available at the touch of a button also ensure that you are viewing your image at it's optimal visual clarity, with modes for Gaming, Movies, Browsing, and many more.
I bought two of these monitors to help complete my 3 screen gaming setup.. I already owned 1 which was perfect and worked excellently... My 2 new monitors arrived and were perfect also..No dead pixels or any other problems existed or have occurred since my purchase.. My games look glorious, my view has increased a bunch and my gaming scores are much better.. ( i see things other players don't and faster) I do have one word of warning if you buy 1 of these ok if you buy 3 you better have a gigantic desk surface cause its all screens babe all screens...
I definately would buy these again Samsung Monitors have never failed me...
I purchased this monitor as a refurbished item. Setup was straight forward as well as the color, text calibration. This monitor has a HDMI port, which does not always come on a monitor in this price range. Colors are much stronger and the clarity of the text is very good. As I am older this is important to me to keep the eye strain to a minimum. I had purchased another brand of monitor a few months ago and discovered that next to this monitor it appears very washed out and unfocused. Also I paid less for this device.
im looking on buying a samsung lcd 24" and want to know how much it weight, please if any one can help me to find out how much it weight.....
huge screen, love the quality, and pretty too! the hdmi port is nice to have, but the optical audio ports don't make much sense. no sound speakers on the monitor so maybe it's just for pass through? not necessary to have them if you are going to an external speaker system i guess. maybe it's for the audio coming from the HDMI port?
