Don't buy it!

I bought this camera as a second point and shoot, having a good one which is larger. I was hoping I could use this while traveling because it was small and light. This camera took terrible photos, especially in lower light. I am a Samsung product fan in general, I am amazed they put out a product this poor.

Great features, very intuitive, high quality processing, great camera!

This camera was the perfect gift for Christmas. It is the first camera for an 11yo girl and purple is her favorite color actually. As for the functionality and quality...very nice. As simple as it handles it is a well made and quality camera with more than enough features for even an experienced camera user. With intuitive controls and user interface there isn't a better camera out there. With out saying we are talking about a SAMSUNG product in focus after all. Samsung is always a top notch product maker across the board for all electronics. I highly recommend this camera to anyone looking for serious quality and great price.

Enjoyable to own, but has some software and ease-of-use flaws!

I am very happy I purchased this camera, however it does have some flaws. The body is small and sleek, and the screen has held up very well so far and has no flaws or scratches. For the price its an amazing steal! The problems I have noticed are almost all related to the "Smart" software that picks a setting for the camera. There is no "basic" or "auto" just the smart setting and then specifics such as "portrait", "beach", "snow". I've noticed it leaves the flash off when needed very much, and always seems to "detect" that I'm taking a picture of the night sky. Even if its a brightly-lit indoor scene. So they come out overly bright or completely dim. Also the button is delayed and trigger-happy, I can push it at times and nothing happens, wait a few seconds and repeat, then after my picture is taken it goes off by itself 2-3 times, resulting in many blurred shots of my foot, or the scene I am done shooting. Despite these problems, I am very much enjoying this camera, and use on a daily basis. Its headed in the right direction software-wise, but not quite there yet.

High quality product for a great price.

I bought this product as a replacement for an older digital camera that had become obsolete. I was looking for a camera that offered high quality photographs in almost any light because I sell jewelry on Etsy and need to upload good quality photographs quickly and easily. I did not need a camera with lots of bells and whistles but if I did, this camera offers the best of both worlds.
I like this camera because it is very easy to use and priced perfectly. Just power on, point, click and shoot. Pictures come out perfect with little need for photo adjustments.

So compact but yet so nice. The pictures I have taken are sharp and beautiful.

Easy to use and buying with the extras was the way to go---saved lots of money and have everything I need to do great pix.

I bought this camera because I know the Samsung name and the value was exceptional.

I haven't found anything I don't like about the camera. The battery holds a long charge, the camera is so easy to use. I love it!!

I have always had "have to focus" not point and shoot before but I am very pleased with this point and shoot.
