Great basic phone

I downgraded from my Samsung Eternity touchscreen phone that I've had for two years to this phone because I was tired of the touchscreen keyboard and keypad. The Magnet is a good buy for someone looking for a good basic texting phone. The full keypad on the front of the phone took me a few days to get used to, and the fact that the buttons are close together is no problem for me because I have smaller hands. It has a lot less features than my Eternity, including no video taking capability and no custom text messaging alert tone (what's up with that?) and the camera quality is almost laughable (.3 Megapixels) but other than that, I have no complaint about it. Another thing I like is that I could barely hear my Eternity ring, but I have no problem hearing the Magnet even when I'm on the other side of my house.

fake me out blackberry

the phone looks like a blackberry smartphone because of the keys. but its not a blackberry. the color is so vibrant and i always get compliments. it uses the standard Samsung sized input sockets. the camera works well and it has good basic graphics and ringtones. you can use MP3s as ringtones which i plan to do :)

I <3 Samsung Magnet

This is great phone, anyone considering getting it I strongly recommend you do. The call quality is great and so is the speakerphone. The phone is a nice break from all the QWERTY slider phones, its really light and thin, so it fits in your pocket without it being uncomfortable. The only complaints that I have were the VGA camera mainly because it doesn't have amazing quality pictures, but that’s nothing big. I love the keyboard the keys are slightly angled so it's easier to differentiate from the other keys, the only bad thing is that at first the keys seem a little stiff but after a day with the phone you learn to work with it.

Good Phone

I enjoy the product that i bought. it fits my needs thanks. I really do not want to write a review becuase iam lazy but i do enjoy ebay and the products that people but on ebay for me to have a good product to fit my needs at the time of my life that i would like them. thanks everyone at ebay and the people around the world that do not screw with others on ebay.

Very good phone

Phone is great. It has great call quality, loudness, and signal strength. I've never dropped a call with it. The color and overall appearance is awesome. People mistake it for a blackberry all the time. It's also very small, thin, and light. The only problem with it is that you can't change the text message alert tone to anything other than the 5 standard beeps it comes with. This is a real disappointment considering how Samsung promotes this as a texting phone. Other than that it's a great phone. I wouldn't say the text noise is a deal breaker by any means, but it is annoying.
