Has some negative issues, not worth the money

This phone no doubt is a sturdy phone but it has a few negative issues. Pretty much every cell phone I've owned has had a button that you could push to lock your phone instantly. This phone can only be locked if you go into settings and security, which is a lot of hassle. Another issue is while the phone is in my side pouch the front buttons can accidently be pushed and send preset messages and another is the push to talk button constantly making noise in the pouch by being pushed if you have a tight pouch or are active with the phone pressing against the sides of the pouch

THIS IS A GREAT PHONE IN ALL RESPECTS...IF YOU READ THE MANUAL. GREAT VIVID COLOR, DUAL SPEAKERS, TOUGH MILITARY GRADE. I HAVE BEEN USING CELL PHONES SINCE 1985. BEST PHONE I HAVE HAD WITHOUT GOING TO A SMART PHONE. AS SOON AS THE BID PRICES DROPS ON EBAY I WILL BUY TWO OR THREE SPARES.

Most rugged and fully featured basic (not "smart") phone

The Convoy2 is IMO the most robust and fully featured basic phone I found after much searching. Most impressive: camera with 3 Mp (not 1)and flash (which can also be used as a flashlight), takes easily inserted 32 Gb memory card, headphone jack and Bluetooth 2. Can do emails and surf, but I do that enough of that from home. Not a "smart" phone which means no $30 monthly data charge.

Great value for the money!

Simple to use gets the job done. Clear calls good battery life. Takes a fall and still works fine. Very good rugged cell.

Most worthwhile investment I've made in 17 yrs. owning cell phones!

I chose this because I seem to destroy a lot of phones (not that I try). I'm extremely pleased with my choice, though I used my boyfriend's Convoy 1 prior to doing so. The picture quality is fantastic, sound quality great, and I've yet to run the battery dead. It charges fast, and I have NO worries about dropping it, crushing it, washing it (don't laugh!), and the push-to-talk feature is a bonus. I wish I'd bought one of these sooner, and saved myself thousands on expensive yet delicate phones that performed no better in their primary function: making calls when needed. Important to note that although most of my time is spent in a city, I often am in rural areas and have never failed to get a signal. Thank you, Samsung!
