The Samsung Intensity has an attractive and compact design, a great keyboard, and a nice display. It has a megapixel camera, a music player, and GPS.
The Samsung Intensity can't download songs over the air even though it is compatible with V Cast Music, the navigation keys are a little cramped, and the photo quality could be improved. The microSD card slot is inconveniently located behind the battery cover.
The Samsung Intensity is a simple entry-level messaging phone with a few multimedia goodies that's very affordable and easy to use.

really love this phone, its so awesome -- the turquoise color is really girly (the other version of this phone is black/orange=guyish)
the keys are a lot better than my other phone (Samsung T401G)
if you want an alternate to the rumor/rumor 2, this is your phone!!
"MY Pros":
color=turquoise!
social networking/menu styles
lots of ringtones
customizable backgrounds (banner/clock)
"MY Cons":
cheaper feeling than the Rumor--you can shift the thinner/top portion from side to side (opposite of opening keyboard)
keys are hard to press on QWERTY - firmer on Rumor
if you are "dutch" or want a cool looking popular phone, snag this one! it is expensive brand new (prepaid) but not bad pricing for 2yr contract...
note: at first you feel the keyboard is hard to press, but after awhile i think you would get used to it :)
I like that this phone doesn't have a hinge that'll bust within the first week of carrying it around in my pocket. I try to stick with candy-bar models, so I was surprised that this (my first) slider was able to withstand the stresses of bending and squatting in a pair of blue jeans, especially while sharing that pocket with a Jeep key. (Better that sharing the other pocket with my utility knife.) It has a full QWERTY keyboard, which is nice, but that just means that I can now type six times faster than the people I used to be able to only type two times faster than. Overkill for me, but handy. The keys on the keyboard do need a little work on spacing, since they sometimes double-type or get two characters with one push, so that does help me keep pace with other folks.
I hate that that my Jeep key has figured out how to surf the web with this phone. Locking the keyboard doesn't really lock the keyboard, so that kinda sucks. Especially since I don't pay a monthly fee for this, but I don't want to turn it off in case I need for something really urgent, like Googling the address of someplace I'm supposed to meet someone that insists on giving me driving directions instead of the address I can actually put into my GPS like I asked for politely three times.
The volume buttons seem to be especially vulnerable to my capricious key, which seems to be more interested in my missing work so it can go out rock-climbing or mud slinging. (Key's just don't have any appreciation for the cost of gasoline these days.)
If you're looking for an iPhone or Droid, this won't cut it. But if you don't carry this in your front pocket, it'll serve you well as a phone and text messaging cell phone. Hope you found this helpful.
This is an awesome phone and the price couldn't be beat. It's great for texting, has great sound and picture quality. This is my first QWERTY board keyboard phone and I love it. I didn't want a smartphone. And red is my favorite color. I've always been happy with Samsung phones and this one is no different. The battery life is is fine. I charge it about twice a week. It's very easy to use.
This is a very nice phone for those who just talk and text. The slide feature works well, much better than the hinged style that seams to be taking over. Voice quality, range and battery life seem to be fine. For a phone that is never shut off, it holds a charge for a couple of days. The only downside seems to be the camera. There is no video feature, and you can't edit and crop pictures as with other phones. The plus side also includes the fact that you go straight into speaker mode sliding it open to answer, very nice, especially with just one hand. Also, having a keyboard on the outside is great for quick responses, again with one hand. All in all, a worthwhile purchase for those of us who use a phone for a phone, and not as a mobile computer.
This phone is very easy to use with a good design and handy phone, slick everyone can actually use this phone and memorize all application in no time, has a camera take pictures. Good Phone I love it!!!!!
