Samsung SCH R860 Caliber - Black (Metro PCS) Cellular Phone

Metro PCS offers great plans, but not all of their phones are good. Initially I got a Kyocera just to try the service, but after a couple of months I changed it for this one and I loved it! I regret loosing it, and went back to the store to purchase another Kyocera since I was told the above model was no longer available in Cali, honestly don't like Blackberries, so I gave another try to Kyocera... That's when I realized how much I liked my Samsung phone and start looking for it online. Luckily I found it and now I can use the touch screen, take fun pictures, record, download music, get directions, movie times and local searches, as well as acess my favorites like facebook, local news and accu weather on my main menu. It can be also activated by voice commands. I have Samsung electronics at home and now I would recommend their cellulars as well.

This phone is AMAZING for the Metro PCS network. It has everything a Metro PCS phone can possibly offer and more!

For people complaining about slow internet or downloads: that is your Metro PCS service, NOT this phone itself. This phone can only provide you enjoyment limited to the restrictions of the network it is on. You can't blame this phone for slow internet, dropped calls, etc.

Also, for people complaining of its "sensitive" screen: ITS A TOUCH SCREEN PHONE - Get used to it! LOL I LOVED this phone and only got rid of mine because my boyfriend bought me an EVO which I had converted to the Metro PCS system (since Metro PCS doesn't yet provide smartphones of this quality yet!) Also, there are settings on the phone to change the sensitivity of your screen. Stop complaining and go spend a little more time getting to know your phone before you write reviews! :)

This phone is amazing and for the price of Metro PCS's unlimited services, this phone is all you need to have the PERFECT combination of Price and Quality! I love Metro PCS and I loved this phone! In my opinion it is the best smartphone Metro PCS has to offer to date! =)

The phone works fine and has pretty good apps. However, there's no way to get new apps and the touch screen is a little too sensitive. The phone is pretty good though and is one of the best MetroPCS phones.

This phone is excellent. I had one before for two years, but my little dautgher drop it inside my pool. Now, I am buying this same phone in ebay because I loved my previous Samsung R860. This phone has all-in-one. From navigation to web. Touch screen easy to use. Camera takes photos with excellent quality. I recommend this phone. It is better than other phones such as huawei or lg's. Buy this phone.

Great touchscreen. Handwriting, gesture and the works come with it. Comes with basic social apps in the form of widgets. This isn't a IPhone or Droid so don't expect to have tons of apps at your disposal. Doesn't come with any spreadsheet or word processor apps. I'm still hoping that Samsung and Metro PCS work to upgrade apps and the widgets. Easy dialer and message retriever. Very light. Camera is decent and very easy to access via one touch button. Comes with voice recognition functions. BT compatible as well. GPS seems top notch. Fully HTML viewing but seems limited to that of most mobile devices due to memory issues. I recommend this phone to people who aren't looking to replace their PC/laptop. Email function only handles two Email accounts but one could be a corporate email account. Product is great for Metro PCS unlimited smartphone plan. Keep in mind this is a Metro PCS phone so coverage will always be an issue to those in rural areas. Overall I am very happy with the phone since it fits my basic needs. I hope this helps.
