Ok Product. Good Price. Won't buy it again. Recomend for teenagers.

No, I would not recommend this product.

---The Samsung Intensity 2, has some good and bad features, as average as any other phone.---

-----Some of the GOOD features of the phone:
`The full slide out QWERTY keyboard, for fast/solid ABC messaging and e-mail....Allow quick punctuation and proper grammar; no mandatory data contract. It has a handy search and navigation extras. User-configurable display can be made easy to read.allow quick punctuation and proper grammar; no mandatory data contract. It has a nice compact design. The eco-conscious construction is a plus, Has and excellent battery life. It has a Internal Display Size of 2.2 Inches, and a overall body design size of 4.51” x 2.87” x 0.10”. Got it online with my upgrade only had to pay $50.

-----Some of the BAD features of the phone:
`The navigation keys are a little cramped, number pad makes it easy to miss-dial. The 2.5 millimeter headset jack is inconvenient, you can't download music directly to the phone, and the call quality could be better I dropped a call in the first few hours of use. When I would lock the phone and put it in my pocket, I found out that if I would move or bend over(doing the usual stuff at work)...The phone would become unlocked and I would be dialing, and calling people I didn't even know. When it comes to texting on the front keys are really small, then when your continuing and decide to switch to QWERTY keyboard you can't just text right a way you have to press the middle button and do other stuff.....JUST A WASTE OF TIME. You can't press the send/ pick up button on the phone to send a message you have to press the center button press 'SEND' the select 'OK'. Just to much to do when I want to send a quick text message.

-----Bottom Line:
`Only buy if you have really small finger and like a small and compact phone. The Samsung Intensity II is a good midrange phone for teens, thanks to its various social networking and communications tools. While there are some drawbacks, the moderate price is a steal.

WARNING! overpriced and has an "expensive" glitch

No, I would not recommend this product.

I have had this phone for about 2 months now and the first 2 weeks i was quite pleased with this phone. but the 3rd week, some things went downhill.
first, let me start with an overview of the phone. It is a pretty decent phone not considering the glitch which i will mention but it is overpriced. ebay has this phone listed as a smartphone which is highly inaccurate. nothing about this phone or its features leads me to believe it is a smart phone. it is just a simple, basic samsung phone. nothing more, nothing less (unless you buy the data plan with it which i think is a really bad idea). the camera on this is horrible and the night-vision feature samsung provides is basically useless. the screen is pretty nice and very bright although small. the pull-out QWERTY keyboard is a pretty nice feature and provides a nice texting experience. the speaker on this phone is clear and loud and the music player that is on this phone is decent. the software on this phone is very simple and is easy to use.

The Bad
like i said above, it is an overpriced phone. buying the Samsung Reality would be a better choice and a much better investment. the intensity 2 doesnt give much features and is horrible with games. internet is slow on this phone but that is understandable considering it is a basic phone. it has a bad glitch on it which samsung needs to correct in the next intensity. I asked some of my friends that have the same phone and they say they have the exact same problem: the phone will randomly go on the internet and if you dont have a data plan, it will drive up your bill bigtime.

In conclusion, I think I would give this phone 4 stars if it werent for the fact that it is way overpriced and has the "expensive" glitch. they should have drawn the line at $80 for this phone. the glitch is also a big pain and can be expensive if you dont have a data plan and dont want it. It isnt the most durable thing in the world but for a basic phone, it will do. i think the Samsung Reality would be a better choice

Decent phone for the price

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

I've had this phone for a little over a week. Overall I am pleased with it. I agree with other reviewers that the keys on the Qwerty keyboard are a little small but I wanted a smaller phone so I can deal with that. I read other reviews about how it can randomly start surfing the net and run up your bill if you don't have a data plan; I was able to block all data usage at Verizon, so it's a non-issue for me. Also, I bought this phone so my boyfriend could add a line to his plan to save us money. I didn't realize it before, but because I provided my own phone, he will not have a two year contract on that line. Score! You can't beat the price for a phone without being locked into a contract. My only issues so far are that the metallic finish on the back is already wearing in spots and I am pretty careful with my phone..it's just cheap plastic. Also, a couple days ago it started randomly shutting off and starting up again about every half hour. I took the battery out and noticed that it had some moisture that must have gotten in it when I was texting with wet hands. Once I dried it and replaced the battery it has been fine since. I've never had a phone that was that sensitive to moisture..if that's what caused it. Because it has keys on the outside, you almost have to set it up so it locks on it's own after a few seconds. This gets annoying when you're texting because you have to unlock it each time you receive a text. If you leave the keyboard open however, it doesn't lock on it's own. I cannot stand pocket dialers, so for me I leave the lock setting on and just deal with it. Overall, if what you're looking for is a basic phone for quick texting and an occasional call, this phone is decent for the price. So far the battery has been lasting 3-4 days for me which is longer than any phone I have had before. I purchased the two year warranty, so we'll see if I have any more issues other than the minor annoyances I've found so far.

Pretty good value very reasonable battery life

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

Been awhile since I purchased my phone. Wanted enough time to really get to know this product before reviewing. I can use my phone all day txting and call all day (note I don't use phone based internet) and I don't actually have to charge it that night. overall I have no complaints about this phone. It's reasonably easy to use and to learn how to use features. So when everything seems ok to good and then it has a great battery life... for myself I've got to say it was a great value. Hopefully anyone else making this purchase feels as good about it as I do.

Great phone. Will definitely serve it's purpose well.

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

I love that this phone does not require the use of a data package. I am a little old fashion in the sense that I usually just talk or text and do not use the Internet on my phone. So many product (cellular phones) are requiring the use of data packages, which can sometimes cost extra. I like that this one does not require that. Since I text alot, I also like that it has the keyboard. The only thing that could make it better is if it had a touch screen. Over all great phone.
