good cheap android

pros: cheap, fast, long battery, excellent touch screen

cons: native apps (email and texting) aren't very good. Had to download gmail client and text messaging client.

Love the Samsung android phones. Easy to learn to operate. Fast and easy to download any choice of fun and useful apps. Fairly good battery life with fast charging time. Excellent value for the price. Verizon service in my rural area isn't the best so my poor reception is not a problem with the phone. The biggest dislike I have about it is sometimes its hard to tell which is the top when pick it.

For the new smartphone user this is a excellent phone!

This phone was bought for my 84 year young Grams. I taught her to use a laptop this past summer and when she found out if she had a smart phone she could do many of the things on there she did on her laptop it was off to the races. After much research we decided on the Samsung illusion. The features that apealled to both of us were the size of the screen, the ease of readability with minimum glear. Also this phone is very easy to navigate with less difficulies of hitting a wrong key and bringing you into a black abysis. The camera on this phone has been an added plus. She has found it very easy to use. We also liked the Android applications that come preloaded on this device. They offer the beginner a great place to start and with all the apps out there I did not want to overwhelm her. She loves the Google play store and is able to look at many things she can eventually do. At that point we may have to look at a phone with larger memory capabilities. We have found however that a drawback is the service carrier plans with data useage. It is unfortunate it is not offered with unlimited monthly dataplans.

i bought the phone to be put on the new $80 prepaid plan when i got the phone i could not because it was a in the box phone not one in the hard plastic BE AWARE OF THIS YOU WILL PAY 124.99 FOR UNLIMITED TALK TEXT AND DATA MUCH MORE COSTLY THAN I EXPECTED... THE BATTERY REALLY SUCKS IF YOU PLAY GAMES SEND EMAILS FOR LONG PERIODS OF TIME THE BATTERY WONT LAST VERY LONG MABE TWO HOURS IF YOUR LUCKY LOVE ALL THE FEATURES OF THE EMAIL, WEB, YOUTUBE, FACEBOOK, TWITTER, TEXT TO SPEECH OPTION ALL GREAT PHONE NEED BETTER BATTERY GOING TO BUY TO SEE IF THAT HELPS FOR OVERALL ITS A GOOD PHONE WITH A GOOD OPERATING SYSTEM FOR WAT THE PHONE COSTS. IF YOU WANT AN ANDROID PHONE CANT AFFORD A DROID YOU CANT BEAT THE COST!!!!!

MY EXPERIENCE WITH THIS PHONE IS GREAT

THIS IS A NICE PHONE. I BOUGHT THIS PHONE BECAUSE ONE IT WAS PREPAID AND TWO EASY TO USE.THE ONLY DISLIKE I HAVE ON THIS PHONE IS THAT THE BATTERY LIFE SUCKS BUT OVERALL ITS A GOOD PHONE YES I WOULD BUY THIS PHONE AGAIN BECAUSE OF THE APPS AN ECT.THANKS
