Very nice tablet. Has two cameras, built-in GPS and an infrared emitter controller for controlling stereos, TVs, etc. Very responsive, no lagging. Actions are very quick. Outstanding color, respectable sound. The apps provided are nicely integrated with the UI and well chosen. I'm using most of them.

A very handy gadget indeed; it replaces my old Day-Timer and gives me many more capabilities both when I'm working and when I'm relaxing.

Best Tablet Out Today!

I recently bought my daughter the newest version of the IPad for her to use for college, and that gave me the desire to get one too. However, after checking out several other tablets and comparing them with the IPad, I found this Samsung Galaxy Tab2 10.1 to be a far better deal and actually, a better tablet,so I bought myself one! I think the screen picture is better, the screen is bigger, speakers are just as good if not better, and with the ability to add memory via the micro sdhc card, it's a "no-brainer"! You can't add memory to the IPad. You have to buy a more expensive one with more memory installed from Apple. I surf the web, watch videos and movies, listen to music, email, video-chat, play games, and do everything with my Galaxy Tab2 that my daughter does with her IPad, and at half the price! The Android apps are great and easy to use, the Android O.S. works great, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity is a breeze, the 1ghz dualcore processor is blazingly fast, and with 16gb internal memory + the 32gb microsdhc class 10 card I installed, this thing is a true powerhouse of a tablet! The only drawbacks I've found so far are the lack of a HDMI in/out port and USBport, but the IPad lacks them as well. Like the IPad, the Galaxy Tab2 has a blade type connector for charging and with proper cables HDMI and USB connections are available. It would have been a even better tablet had these connections been included without having to use the proprietary cables as is the case with the IPad as well. These two issues aside, the Samsung Galaxy Tab2 10.1 is truly a great tablet and a quality product. Well built, sturdy, easily portable,and a great picture quality are all attributes that make this the best value anywhere. I only wish I had done my research BEFORE spending twice the money on my daughter's IPad and bought her one of these first!

JUST WONDERFUL

Just wonderful device! I use it as cell phone and as tablet. Use good bluetooth headset for calls. Bought it after 2 years of using Galaxy Tab P1000.
The pluses
- 7 inch is ideal size (for my opinion) - not too big to be a phone and pretty large to be a tablet.
- Android 4.0 behaves much better than 2.3, the same battery capacity as in P1000, but much more working time. Nice support of bluetooth.
- Sure there are faster and more powerful devices but they cost twice more than P3100. So, the PRICE is the greatest plus.
- Weight and design. Lighter than P1000 at least, and better design. The phone speaker is a good idea.
The minuses
- It's hard to find one. There's no support for TV out. I discovered it after I bought the tablet.
So I really advice to buy this device. I'm very satisfied with it.

I think I enjoy using a tab.

This tab is a slim like electronic that I have never owned. I like the flat screen and keyboard inside the screen when I type something. The technology inside the 10.1 screen is easier to see what you can't on a regular 3 inch phone screen. It's compactible with other computer devices that have wifi or just taking some of your favorite apps or using the camera. It's got a lot of color with a bright backlight to search for what you want to look at. Overall, it would be nice to be in touch with all that wonder of experiencing something new and interesting.
