Samsung Galaxy S Mesmerize SCH-I500 - 2GB - Mirror black (U.S. Cellular) Smartphone

This phone is great! I use (well...play) with it all the time! I use the calendar app (included on the phone)for my daily entries. I use the email system (included on the phone) constantly. The camera being a 5MP...it makes awesome pics and videos! With Tone Room (included on phone) I can find all my favorite songs and listen to them while I drive, run or while I grocery shop. The storage space is awesome! I can download a whole lot of apps, music, pictures, videos and still have a crazy amount of storage to use for whenever and however I want! The phone features are the same as all the other phones...but I have to admit the phone feature I use less than the other features because I am having way too much fun rocking out, playing, scheduling, texting, facebooking, youtub-ing (if that's even a word...haha), navigating and so on (lol)!! If your like me and cannot afford the i-phone...get the sister of the i-phone....mesmerize! Hope this comment/recommendation helps you decide on your next love affair (lol)!

I decided to get this phone because of a review I read at PC World Magazine. So far the phone has been all it was supposed to be and then some more. Lighter and thinner than the iphone 4, even though it comes with a full qwerty keyboard; which is just perfectly disign. Color from the Super Amoled screen are just amazing; much brighter than that of the iphone; even outdoors. The phone is fast, very fast; the Android OS is very intuitive and simple and as friendly as it can be. I just love it. It really make all other phones out there look pale.

This is the best phone I have ever owned. I got this instead of the Motorola Electrify from US Cellular because of the huge difference in price. This phone has been nothing but great so far. It runs fast and smooth and the virtual keyboard works perfect. I text faster on this phone then my Samsung Acclaim even without a real QWERTY keyboard. It has a great touch response and feels great in my hand. It is thin and light even with the Otter Box case I have put on it. The battery has very decent life as long as you use an app to kill programs running in the background you are not using. It is also great for games. I play Need For Speed Hot Pursuit on it daily. It has better graphics than even newer PSP games and runs and loads fast. The only suggestion I have for keeping it running fast is to make sure any app you download is moved to the SD card if available. It also has the fastest download speed I have seen for a phone on the 3G US Cellular network. With full bars I download from Android Marketplace at about 450KB a second. I'm not certain on the upload speed, but pictures you take with the 5 megapixel camera upload to Facebook in about 3 to 4 seconds.

I would have given this an excellent except for a few things. First it is a wonderful phone, but it lacks a few things that are key to me. Push email, if you want it you have to have a gmail account. Gmail is great, except if it brings in your pop3, it signs each message as xxx@gmail.com via xxx@att.net. If you want pop3 with the app, Sprint servers have a problem with using SSL so sometimes you get mail and mostly you don't as well as sending the same. Battery life sux the big one. Sprint has not provided Android 2.2, and every thing eats battery like fire. 4g is there kinda and Sprint forces a premium on you even if you can't access it. I have everything off, except for 3g had one 5 min call, and it is 3pm and 1/2 of the battery is gone, It will empty before 10pm, and I have a 15min sync on just one email account. Other than that it is definately the best phone I have had in terms of sound, and applications available. My friend has a iPhone and it sux big compared to my Epic 4g.

I'am not a techie, this is by FAR the best phone I've ever had....it has up to 7 screens, crazy simple and convenient to use, super slim, feels great, For days I went around saying, "i love this phone"....was SOOO much better than the other samsung monster i had...battery goes out quicker if you have the internet thing on all the time-otherwise it hangs in there all day long plus...and I use and play w/ the phone alot...Enjoy!!!
