I LOVE LOVE LOVE this phone. I bought an AT&T version to use with straight talk. It works fantastic and it even FEELS good. The sensation of your finger running over it feels so smooth. When I first turned it on the visuals were intense and very noticeable. All my friends have the new Iphone and told me I was crazy to buy this, but after comparing I felt this was not only the better value, but the better brand. I am very turned off by Apple trying to Patent EVERY little thing. I think that hinders technology. Anyhow my I-phone friends have admitted they regret sticking with Apple. There are so many things this phone can do. I've owned mine for over 2 mos now and I still find new features and functions. My favorite is being able to talk to it and it doing what I command. I was hesitant to try out this feature, thinking it wouldn't work so well, but it really works wonderful. It is nice to have hands free and talk to my phone when on the road so I don't have to worry about averting my eyes. It isn't 100% perfect, but it is spot on 99% of the time. I was hesitant to purchase since I had to buy it full price (I have straight talk for a carrier), but I got a really decent deal from a former ATT customer here on ebay. I do own the white one. I love the big screen too. There are a lot of tutorials on ebay for all the awesome functions this phone has. There are also tutorials for using it with straight talk. All I had to do was plug in my Sim Card from my old phone and I was good to go. Everything I read said I wouldn't get 4g on Straight Talk, but I do. Oh and battery time is very decent as well. I can stream two Netflix Movies (I get bored sometimes at work) and I will still have 20-30% battery left, this usually includes some texting and words with friends and 1-2 phone calls in between. I can stream music for 5-6 hrs and still have 20-30% as well. Usually I just plug it in the computer and I don't have to worry about it, but I wanted to know just how good the battery was. As far as ease of use, if you aren't familiar with Android OS, it might take you a few mins, but it is pretty easy. I'm very happy. My coworkers are astounded that it works so well with straight talk and that I only pay $45 bux a month.
This Galaxy S III has 4G data and 16GB interal storage supports up to a 64GB micro SD chip... does everything you want to expect out of a phone and maybe even more. While watching movies on the device you dont have to wait for buffering or loading... the Galaxy S III is prefect size to not have to worry about not seeing everything because its to little and its not to big that you look crazy trying to talk on it... prefect for everyday needs and really fast on downloading apps from Google play and fast on play games even the ones that requires internet and/or wifi. Great phone all the way around. The touch screen glass is made with gorilla glass so it takes a lot to crack it, but it is possible so its always good to treat the galaxy S III with care or any phone for that matter. The Galaxy S3 is the prefect phone for me.
Thanks, samsung for making a phone that is easy to work with easy to view the screen and not to big so you don't feel uncomforable talking on the device.
Great phone, very easy going, don't need to be a tech freak to squeeze every feature it offers. Graphics are top notch with fluid surfing between apps and functions. Keyboard is big and sensitive enough to let you fast texting without the need to turn back to fix typos. Battery life is good but charging takes too long for a quick charge on the run so make sure to do a full charge the night before a long day of travel. Esthetically speaking is the handsomest phone on the market too big for shirt pocket but thin enough for jeans. If you are looking for a fully functional,no brain cracking, cool looking smartphone this is the way to go.
I bought this Cellphone because i have owned the Galaxy S1, S2 and figured the Predecessor would be well worth the money just like the originals and the Predecessor Galaxy S3 has Answered the Call. I have had numerous smartphones and the S3 loaded with 2gb of ram is by far the Fastest and Smoothest.
I have also had many other "Larger" size androids such as the HTC One X, Galaxy Note, VIVID 4g etc.. Alot of these full-size Dualcore Powerful androids seem to be "Battery Eaters" but the S3 feels light in your hand and out of the Box it had Impressive Battery life with the 3100mhz Extended Stock battery. I also LOVE That this phone has a Replaceable battery unlike some of the other newer smartphone designs that integrate a Built-in Unremovable battery.
If you Use the Smartphone for Just basic things such as Listening to music, Calls/Messaging, and Facebook, You might not notice enough of a Difference to Shell out the Extra Few hundred dollars. However, If you really "USE" Your smartphone, This phone has EVERYTHING.
Word of Advice, Samsungs Phones are very LIGHTWEIGHT and Sleek in there design. This means they can also be sometimes broken easily if Dropped on Concrete are hard surfaces. Make sure to Spend an Extra few Bucks and Pick up a Nice Case to Protect your Investment.
Cons:
Lightweight Feeling but this can also be a Positive.
Cosmetically the Button on the screen at bottom is unappealing and leaves something to be desired.
Final Note:
Samsung is the largest manufacturer in the smartphone/cellphone industry, They are bigger then apple, lg, motorola, nokia, htc, blackberry and with this Device they have shown there position in the market. (at the top)
I would Recommend this to a Friend.
Amazingly fast and cool phone. I love all of the features it has and how capable it is. I had the iPhone 5 and the samsung blows it out of the water! The only downside is the battery life isn't the best at eeping up with but there again I play on it non stop (movies, texting, phone calls, apps) I love the large screen and the swipe keyboard as well as the customizable sounds and look of the overall phone. Very great buy! Highly recommend!!
