Couldn't be happier!!!

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

The Samsung Droid Charger is one of the easiest operating 4G phones on the market.screen is a great size for viewing games and movies.all keys and operating system function well on the 4.3 inc touch screen. 4G speed on this phone is awesome. I've clocked download speeds as fast as 32.6 mbps and upload of 9.42 mpbs
Only thing i wish was better is the battery.Like all smartphones,it uses battery faster than i like. But that's with all smartphones

For the price of this phone on eBay, it is definitely worth a good look

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

I have tried all of Verizon's single core 4G LTE phones, and my conclusion: The Droid Charge gives you the most bang for your buck.
The Droid Charge is pretty lightweight, especially because of the plastic build. The phone feels good in my hands, and the actual buttons at the bottom of the phone are to my liking.
Call quality on the charge is very good. Phone calls sound crisp and clear, and reception is pretty consistent with other Verizon phones I have owned. In terms of sound clarity on both the speaker and handset, the Charge is better than The HTC Thunderbolt, but a notch below the Apple iPhone.
The battery lasts much longer than other 4G phones from VZW, giving you most of the day without needing a recharge. If you have a spare battery, then you can rest assured that you will not experience the same "battery anxiety" as you do with other 4G phones.
Also, the Charge's screen is very eye pleasing. The size (4.3") hits the sweet spot, and the colors are deep and bright.
The 8mp camera on this phone is amazing. One of the first things I usually check out when first using a phone is the camera. On the Droid Charge, the camera takes beautiful close shots and colors are very bright. The touch to focus is great and comes in handy. The full screen viewfinder (6mpwide) is a great assistant to accentuate detail. I find the still images to be slightly brighter than the Thunderbolt and iPhone, with more saturated colors. 720p Video recording might lag at times, but is overall good for a phone camera.
HDMI Mirror mode is one of my favorite features. By connecting an HDMI cable from the Charge to my HDTV, I can see my phone on the big screen. Whatever my phone screen is showing, that's what shows up on my TV.
With 4G LTE on the Charge,I have experienced speeds averaging 14MBPS, but up to 34MBPS. Comparing this to Verizon's 3G which fetches around 1.5MBPS in my area, the 4G screams! The 4G doesn't affect the battery on this phone as much as it did on others, such as the HTC Thunderbolt and LG Revolultion, and there is a setting to turn it off.

This phone is good, but not without it's issues.

The amount of RAM in this phone is pretty low. In other words, you may experience lag in day to day use. Scrolling or swiping on the home screen or browser pages may get annoying for some. The lag is also apparent in multi tasking. I usually feel a burden when running more than one task, thus putting the built in task manager to more use. I usually stay on top of my running applications, so I'm not too upset.
Another drawback is the software update process. It's unfortunate that a phone that was released just a few months ago has not received the software that was released over a year ago. Also, this phone will probably not receive Ice Cream Sandwich (4.0), but I may be wrong. I just can't picture the internals of this phone to be capable of running more demanding software.

For the price that this phone is now selling on eBay, I highly recommend giving it a chance. The battery life is good, and the camera is great. 4G LTE speed is in a class of its own and is great on the Droid Charge.

Outdated hard keys are tacky, but swype and 4g lte makes up for it

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

I'm glad I got this phone on ebay, rather than from verizon. For me the main drawback is the physical dedicated buttons. How many smartphones even have that feature? Most phones have softkeys if any. These hard keys are just more hardware to go bad. I guess samsung cut production costs by going this route. For those of us who use the music player, I found the interface to be more tedious than my motorola droid. Some functions on the samsung require more steps than the motorola. Another weird thing is that my computer doesn't seem to read the phone when I connect via usb (on a side note, I experienced the same situation with a samsung galaxy tab). This wasnt an issue at all with the motorola.
Other than that, the user interface and Android 2.2 are smooth. I like how Samsung includes some control toggles in the notification drop down pane. It's pretty cool how you can toggle on/off the data connection, while retaining the 4g lte connectivity for texts and phone calls. The amoled display and large screen are crisp as any other competing android phone. The HDMI comes in real handy for displaying videos on a big tv. The swype keyboard software is revolutionary, and my favorite feature on this phone. I've gotten so familiar with this feature that I catch myself trying to do it on other devices haha. I think swype is the single most significant innovation with samsung devices. Personally I think it serves as an edge over all the competing brands. Since this is probably one of samsung's premier 4g lte androids, I guess I can't really say much else about the negatives.

If you are thinking about getting a new phone, then I highly recommend this

Yes, I would recommend this product to a friend.

I sold my iPhone 4 to get the Droid Charge, and I'm very happy about it. It comes with a 32 GB micro SD card, which is a lot of storage space. The card is easy to remove because you don't have to take the battery out to remove it. This phone uses the 4G connection, and it's lightning fast loading web pages and downloading. When I download an app, by the time I say "It's downloading," it's already done. I downloaded a movie in its entirety, which was a little over 1 GB, and it was done in 10 minutes. I can watch Netflix on it with no pausing or loading, and the picture looks great. It has Flash player built in, which is very nice. The camera takes clear, colorful pictures, and you can tap the picture for options to share it, including posting to Facebook. Texting is very easy, the keyboard is the best virtual Qwerty keyboard I've used.

This phone is only for geeks that root or customers that don't buy apps.

No, I would not recommend this product.

This phone is for two types of users, one that roots the phone and deletes all of the Samsung and Verizon bloatware, or the customer that does not buy any apps from the Android Market or any other store. This phone only has 373MB of memory. So when you have all of that Samsung and Verizon bloatware there is very little run time memory for any other programs. This is why you must root the phone and delete te bloatware so that you can buy apps and they can run efficiently.

Keep in mind that this phone only has 2GB of internal storage when most other phones have at least 8GB or 16GB or even more. Keep in mind that Verizon does not support running apps on internal storage. So how many apps can you store on 2GB - the bloatware = 1.17GB. Yikes! So make sure you are comfortable running apps on external storage that Verizon does not support. Verizon only supports multimedia on external storage. Unbelievable. Why? Actually there is a good reason. The standard speed for Micro SD cards is not enforced when manufactured. So you and I can both buy class 6 Micro SD cards and they can run at different speeds.

Finally don't buy a class 10 Micro SD card. I tried to switch out my 32GB Samsung card with a faster one that I ordered. Programs would not always run or install on the class 10 Micro SD card.
