The Samsung Droid Charger is one of the easiest operating 4G phones on the market.screen is a great size for viewing games and movies.all keys and operating system function well on the 4.3 inc touch screen. 4G speed on this phone is awesome. I've clocked download speeds as fast as 32.6 mbps and upload of 9.42 mpbs
Only thing i wish was better is the battery.Like all smartphones,it uses battery faster than i like. But that's with all smartphones
I purchased this phone used off of the ebay market. It has a very small crack on the digitizer, which can only be seen up close with the phone off. The performance of this unit is better than the Droid X that I replaced it with, the colors on the screen are amazing. The weight and size of the unit is comparable to the Droid X, with the Charge being lighter because of the plastic construction. The battery life is a bit better on the Charge than on the Droid X (I have been running Gingerbread on both phones). It reminds me to recharge every other day as opposed to every day as on the Droid X, and I am a casual user, phone, games every now and then, Google Navigation with traffic on the way to and from work. The sizes are comparable to one another, in size with the lighter weight going to the Charge. I have large hands, so the functionality does not hinder me in any way, I use SWYPE on both units. I am very well pleased with the unit as a whole, and will be getting the digitizer fixed pretty soon,( I have verizon's warranty service on this phone now). Not sure if I will be going to the Galaxy Nexus later, depending on if this phone will be eligble for ICS in the future. But for right now I am happy with this device and my purchase, and verizon's 4gLTE service.
My phone recently broke and I needed an upgrade to keep my Unlimited Data plan, the Charge offered AMOLED display technology and 4G speeds at an affordable price. While that is great in itself, it lacks in other areas like RAM, CPU power and battery life. The Charge actually drains the battery roughly 2-3x faster than my HTC Rhyme once did on a stock battery.
The phone is enjoyable but it's not for those looking to see upgrade paths, the single threaded CPU means little for software updates and the battery drains at extreme levels. It's good to get you by if you're not a heavy user but if you're highly active you'll need some backup power and charging options.
Overall given the investment cost it was a good choice that I'd go with again as the boost from 3G to 4G is night and day. Currently able to surpass my current cable provider speeds at 30/20 on Speedtest.
So far this phone has been almost perfect. The only negative is battery life could be better, but it's not that bad considering it is a 4G phone. It is a great looking phone that performs very well for my taste. I have not had any problems so far. The sound quality is great. Callers are loud and clear when speaking. For me, the screen size is just right, not too big or too small. The screen is very vibrant. Phone came with a 32gb micro-sd card for more capacity. Overall, this has been a great phone.
Great phone! Have always loved it and would suggest it to anyone. The screen on this phone is better than any phone out there. The colors make it look as though it has 3D features.
The battery life is ok, but after a while it seems to get worse and worse. I just bought an extra battery and charger and I don't seem to have a problem.
