I purchased this printer because I needed high quality color output for graphics projects composed for my clients. I needed a printer which offered all the bells and whistles for the most conservative pricing. The Samsung CLP-325W is sheer perfection, and I would highly recommend it to anyone planning on purchasing color laser technology. As an added bonus, the toner cartridges are reasonably priced so you don't end up spending a fortune when the need to replace toner arises! I am exceedingly happy with this printer, and consider it to be the "best printer" I've ever purchased.
Did a lot of research looking for a cheap color laser printer that anyone on our company wifi network could use. Got this in last week. Setup is kind of a pain because you must use a USB cable (not supplied) to configure the wifi. However, once configured this machine prints beautifully and subsequent computers on the network can connect easily once the software is on their computer.
So far it seems like a great printer. The print is beautiful almost 3d looking. You just can't beat laser when you had inkjet. It is kinda annoying how it goes to sleep and doesn't wake up automatically. But it does let out a squeal to tell you it is asleep. Most printers will show up on the task bar with an error if the print is unsuccessful but this one doesn't so you have to hit print again after you wake up the printer. It has Wi Fi hook up which is essential because our last two printers were killed by electric spike that ran from the modem to the computer down the network cable and into the printer. We now have everything running through a surge protector but even still there is not chance of damage with the Wi Fi hook up.
Great printer when it's working, I had a Samsung CLP315 first, prints great, but buyer beware, I must have bad luck with Samsung, the CLP315 broke down after 8 months, had it repaired under warranty, then it broke down again 5 months later, out of warranty, cost of repair more than a new one, I liked the print results so well I bought the Samsung CLP325W, great prints again, but now after 15 months, very light printing, I cleaned rollers, put in new toners, still light printing, well cost to repair more than unit, will try another company
The printer works good, just wish the color came out right using Linux Mint. Haven't figured it out yet.
