I prefer to think of these as crystals or prisms which can be handed to kids to color. I do not specifically tell them that they are snowflakes.
The development of the patterns from a whole page single to multiples with a kaliedoscope-like effect permits many approaches to coloring.
WELL PLEASED with this book.
