Movie synopsis
Francis Ford Coppola directed this beautiful black-and-white version of S.E. Hinton's popular youth novel. RUMBLE FISH explores the relationship between a young street thug, Rusty James (Matt Dillon), and his older brother, the legendary Motorcycle Boy (Mickey Rourke). When Motorcycle Boy comes back to town, he finds Rusty James trying to imitate his former gang leader ways and their father (Dennis Hopper) trying to drink away a troubled past. The only color images in the film are the shots of the Siamese fighting fish that the color-blind Motorcycle Boy admires.

Love this movie seen it once before, big Matt Dillon & Diane Lane Fan. a must have for your dvd collection! Great story line i think is one of Mickey Rourke's best films. Gorgeous actors in a fabulous movie. I love it!

great buy...
I first saw this movie on IFC late at night, and was astonished at the performances portrayed by Micky Rourke and Matt Dillon, also Dennis Hopper has a small cameo too. the movie was directed by Francis ford capola, same guy who did Apocalypse Now.

I bought this film along with The Outsiders because my son is a big S.E.Hinton fan. The movie has a stellar cast with Mickey Rouke and the beautiful Diane Lane.I hopelfully helps some adolescents deal with similar issues. Good movie to view with kids and then have them read the book, or vice-versa.

This is an odd movie but thats what makes this movie interesting. Trying to find out whats going through the main actors (Micky Rourke) head. It reminds me of (The Outsiders) Another awesome movie!

I bought this movie because I liked the book. What I liked most it was that it was in black and white with color sequences. What I disliked about it, was that it wasn't really based off from the book, that's what I think.
