No more streaming problems! So many viewing and listening choices!

My husband and I had a few extra dollars, so we started looking for a solution to our streaming problems. We found this Roku and are in heaven!! Now we can watch movies, tv series, listen to music, get the news and play video games, effortlessly using the subscriptions we already had to Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu Plus and Pandora. eBay and Roku - the perfect solution!

This Roku is an awesome device to add for your enjoyment at a great price!

This is a great "gadget" & is so easy to setup & literally doesn't take a "rocket scientist" to figure out! Once set up, it gives you almost endless possibilities for streaming your favorites such as Netflix, HBOGO, etc. as well as almost endless channel store choices, nationally & internationally! Plus, the bonus with this one being the gaming capabilities it has & the remote is so easy to navigate, a child could do it! If you already have a router you're using perhaps for your laptop or other wireless device, you're halfway there but if not, most routers these days can be purchased at very low prices plus the beauty of this device is that it doesn't necessarily have to be setup in the same room as your router -it will pick up the signal almost from anywhere in your home, literally going through walls. When this one was setup, the router was in the home office which was 2 rooms away from the flat screen TV 2 rooms away, meaning it had to go through 2 walls thus proving it will work almost anywhere (I'd say) you set it up. Great for entertainment especially if you don't have cable or just the basic cable, it will add tons of stations/channels for your viewing pleasure - try it, I really think you'll like it & find it's well worth the price!

All in all, the Roku is the star in my lexperience

I bought this mainly because it was one of the few streaming media devices that carried MLB Premium TV. I already had the Sony SMP100 but the Roku, in addition to getting MANY more channels, has a much more user-friendly interface and it is about 25% of the size of the Sony. There is also an accessory that will allow you to mount the Roku on the back of your TV out of sight from the front view. This edition also includes the free Angry Birds game, which we all enjoy in our family. All in all, the Roku is the star in my limited experience with this type of device. Would definitely recommend.

Great! saves you money and with internet conected free entertainment.

I bought this product to get away from paying cable. I like that you can download lots of free content some are bad some are good takes a while to figure out what you like. Downside you can't use free HULU they force you to buy HULU plus for 10.00 a month. The news channels are awesome never could see all the news feeds now I have 2 moths of back log to see. Games are cool angry birds and you don't know jack are fun. You can also use a Plex channel to network your movies and will play all formats except vob. type DVD files. This is my first media streamer and it is well worth it. I cancelled my cable and this is all I use. Takes some getting use to but I don't watch TV much anyway and is a perfect alternative.

Awesome Product!! Packed with Entertainment for the whole family!!!

I LOVE the Roku 2XS!!! I have one for every television in the house. Unlimited movie/tv shows from hundreds of channels like Netflix, HuluPlus, Amazon Instant Video,Crackle and they are constantly adding more! They also have a good selection of games with a complimentary full version of Angry Birds installed on the device :). You can listen to music with Pandora, MOG, Sirius XM, MP3 Tunes and more. With the Ethernet port you have the option to hard wire the device or use it wireless. The USB port also allows you to watch MP4 video files and stream pictures through one of their many applications. It also has an expandable memory port to allow for more movie channels to be added to your channel selection. It uses only 1.5 MB of Bandwidth and uses energy equivalent to a night light so it has a small carbon footprint. Oh and did I mention it was reasonably priced!! An all around excellent device that I will give 10 stars if possible. Very happy with my purchase!! Highly Recommend
